  • Thomas71551 I got 'Tis a gift At good wil But Well My Grandma Got it for me

  • @spetragl ok. thought that looked familiar. I'm sad that the GCR got rid of 18. she was my favorite.

  • what engine is this? and what railroad?

  • @itm426 The footage used for the opening and closing sequences was filmed at the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona, and features their locomotive #18. Incidentally, the 18 makes a second appearance as its whistle, a Southern Pacific six-chime, is used for Mr. Nicholas's heard-but-not-seen "Northern Star." This locomotive now resides at the Mount Hood Railroad in Oregon.

  • Awsome! Love Shining Time Station!!!

  • Do You Have Any Shining Time Station Episodes? Can You Please Upload The TV Broadcast Of Tis A Gift?

  • The only difference (that I know of) is the commercial plug at the beginning and the end..

  • @spetragl there no commercials on pbs for shining time station at all this is commercial free

  • This was an actual recording (captured on VCR tape) of a broadcast from WNET-13 in New York (best recollection is somewhere around 1994). From what I remember, they ran it with the commercial plugs for 2 years, then stopped.
