  • ....Legends...Having Fun.....

  • i love thier hair ....

  • @1stBIgCol: Do you remember the incident during Legend Of A Mind? It was, indeed, Wembley Arena.

  • We were all drunk at this show.

  • Love these guys!! Justin Hayward has an incredible voice and still does today.. John Lodge is also an exceptional vocalist.. something about Justin's voice that just melts my heart and that smile.. Love Justin Hayward!

  • lost my best buddy in 1981 but iknow ur out there somewhere......hope to see u soon

  • Justin is just beautiful! What a gorgeous, gorgeous man indeed!! He just melts my heart!! And that voice!! A voice that just peirces your heart with its beauty!! ILY Justin!! Forever!! ♥

  • Oh how I love this song!! It is just beautiful!! It just digs deep into my soul and touches my heart on every emotional level!! The Moodies are just truly a phenomenal band of all time!! They are pure magic to the soul!! Pure brilliance !! Oh how I love them!! The Moodies forever my friends!! ♥

  • I GUESS IT'S NOT ez TO SING while playing lead guitar

  • "Do you mind?" - Ray Thomas said to one of my friends at this show. He stopped his flute solo during "Legend of a Mind" to do just that. I had some choice words for him in return. John Lodge seemed to enjoy the exchange while Justin Hayward just stared in disbelief and anger. Oh the good times..... We were sitting just off the stage to John Lodges left.

  • @GatorKarl was your friend drunk?

    what was the issue

  • can't realy say much more just when you figured it out, something else comes up. isn't life strange. just like the doors song people are strange

  • Gosh I was there, was it the Wembley arena then?

  • It's not "Wembly". It's Wembley.

  • damn, I forgot how good they are

  • good ol Ray Thomas!

  • I know there is a lot of bands out there, but holy shit, some of the music is out of this world.....fantastic (PS: I am an old guy seen a lot)

  • I saw these guys in August of this year at the Louisville Palace. I'm a fan due to my father always blaring it in the house. What an emotional concert.. I couldn't sing along due to the lump I had in my throat the entire time... so amazing.

  • I was there too. Greetings from Louisville:-)

  • @JeremyFultineer

I agree...we saw them in Toronto last August. Singing and weeping along with 'Isn't Life Strange'...I was in heaven!!!

  • i would like to thank every one for praying for me, now my husband is dying of lung cancer, he only has 2 months left this song just hits me hard but the moody fans, you just can't believe how you helped me, this past year seems unreal, bless you raine

  • I feel for you. My wife was diagnosed having ovarian cancer 3 years ago. She's hanging on. There's more life than what we think. Blessings.

  • Dear Raine6178

I am so sorry that you are lonely. I could not imagine being in your shoes and it breaks my heart. Please know that I am thinking and praying for you. May God bless you and hold you in his hand. Your are loved

  • Thank you so much for sharing this video. i've been searching and searching. I kept remembering the chorus to this song but I couldnt remember which song it went to. You solved the mystery for me. And I love this song

  • Total baddasses!!!

  • WELL SAID!!

  • 28/10/08 and just back from the Ostend -gig and amazed by the overwhelming beauty and purity of their music STILL.

Never understood tough why they need to sing "I'm just a singer in a R and R band" it's never been rock!..apart from some.

songs...It's more like silver snow on a day bursting in white light...So yes, they were great tonight!

  • Just a perfect song, my father is dying of a brain tumor, his 3rd, but man was he strong, I am adding a response above, I use the same song. Please if you have a chance and your dad is still with you let him know how much you love him. 5 stars by the way, Derek

  • my father died in 2006. I miss him so much. my biggest regret is that I didn't tell him how much I loved and cherished him before he died. i was in his house when he died. he was never a man of many words. i knew he loved me even though he never said it too me. i hope he knew i loved him as well.

  • Mine passed away in Aug 2007 -- It sucks. Music, I know how you feel. But know that if he ever felt discord about you, he would have let you know. I hope, in some way that makes you feel a little better. I miss mine all the time, but I need to have the realization he would be proud.

  • tell me about it! i dream of him often and so realistic like he was still here and talking to me in some ways it is comforting but in other ways kinda frightning cause it seems so real. isn't life strange. indeed! lol musica

  • i agree i my dad died just after chrismas 96 things that he told me still races though my head but shortly before he died he said "bullfrog don't ever get old "the cancer didn't get him it was the medication for his artheritous that caused conjestive heart failure

  • I remember this as a kid. Just at the time when I began questioning life and its many unanswered mysteries.

  • "i have loved these gentlemen since i was 10when the hell are those morons in charge gonna put them in the hall of fame."

Those morons believe The Ramones are better,LOL. It`s all tied into Rolling Stone mag and other superficial assholes in the music biz. It`s mostly a popularity contest. In some cases it is a compliment to "not" be inducted

  • hoty1957

I agree with the other poster and your sentiments towards the RRHOF. The great Moodies should have been automatic inductees on first year of elegibility; same story with Jethro Tull, Yes, Genesis, MC5, Stooges, none of which are there yet.

However, the Ramones also deserve to be there. In the mid-70's they were pioneers, helping to bring back the energy and excitement of simple dance music, when "classic" rock had become dull and pretentious.

  • Maybe ya gotta die to get in the hall like the dc5 got in it but two of their members died. no disrespect meant to them but the moody's outlasted them by far. and produced much more outstanding music over the years. as for me, the moody's are the greatest. don't need the hall of fame or should it be called the hall of infamous. haha

  • Legends....From The Dawning....You Are In My.... Heart......Always.....Like....The English Sunset....Never Reaching The End....

  • Love them. Always did and always will!

  • RAY THOMAS is the spitting image of the Irish flutist, James Galway, in this concert.

  • AHHHHH! HEAVEN ON EARTH. And the word was....

  • What a sweet lullaby

  • yeah yeah "wish I could be in your heart..." Beautiful song ! Thank you for posting .

  • how this song reaches ones mind if one looks inside..........

  • i have loved these gentlemen since i was 10when the hell are those morons in charge gonna put them in the hall of fame. i agree that john and justin must be angels, very sexy angels. Long may they reign and hold the keys to the kingdom.

  • I know these guys are visiting from Heaven or something! Love you beautiful Moody blues

  • What a brilliant band.

  • oh for real!

  • John Lodge, you sound like an angel

  • I used to not like this song very much, but in due time I realized how epic it is

  • Thanks again Moodiesfan! This is my second favorite JL song!

  • BerryGirl, we may be crazy but we ain't no fools!

  • Ber, I meant JH!!! Lodge is something else too, BUT... there are only very few rarities like Justin, right? He takes me to Camelot in my mind!

  • excuse me, Norda I mean! im not real hot on spelling

  • BerryGirl, One can only dream. Well, it was early '90's in Houston. I had every album since Lost Chord, but thought Winwood was god til that night, i got front and center. my stomach got oozy and my head was high and I then wanted to rent a jet and follow them around the world! wonder how Narda does it being next to him trying to focus!

  • "Wish I could be in your heart, to be one with your love." The best line in the song. It grabbed me the first time I heard it and I fell in love. I just didn't know it was John I fell in love with at the time.

  • Yes, but I want to be in JH's heart!

  • TerriJane

Wish I could be in HIS eyes!

  • Berry Girl

    I'm with ya!

  • Berr,

    Oh, somehow, I don't think I would mind....hee hee!!!!

I don't think I would notice it, I would be more interested in his fingers all over me, as his fingers glide over the flute so gently!! Oh, I SO need to behave!!!!! rofl!!!!

  • Berr,

Didn't wanna scare zurich off!! LOL!!! But we can't hide our wackiness for long!!! rofl!! XD

  • If I was that close to John, I'd faint WAYYYYY before I could detect garlic on his breath. He's very emotional singing this song here. He sure is a yummy man. Just......yummy.

  • ap,

A little garlic makes things a bit more tasty! LOL!!

  • good song

  • died, went to heaven, and ended up here!

  • Dear Soul Sisters & Bros'

I'm too going to get the sack for sure, these Wembley ones are too beautiful for me to even comment. Love to read yours, nice to have such a group with the same mindset. You are beautiful too!

  • zurich,

Welcome aboard! We Moody lovers are a great bunch of just ordinary people with big hearts, and ears for the Moodies which never tire of their sweet sounds!

    :)

  • It was a big mistake me finding this place. My boss will probably sack me for sure. I love the Moodies, this song, and the awesome man who sings it here. Moodiesfan, I am Moodeeluvr and I want to thank you for this video.

  • Berr,

Aw, now girl, you know your eyes don't just stay focused on the mouth!! Those eyes of yours start moving "south" on him, now don't they??? LOL LOL!!!!

  • Berr,

My fave look is mustache only on Ray. I guess 'cause I wanna stroke his soft cheeks with my fingertips and plant tender little kisses all over them....Ohhhh, here I go being naughty again...lololol!!!!!

  • Berr,

    I melted........

  • Well, since we're talking about Ray - I love the beard, too. A very down to earth, casual style for Ray and it looks good on him. By the way, Ray's eye's sparkle, just like Johns. Also I noticed on different interviews that Ray is a very sincere guy. Very nice, like the rest of them. Wish I could have one of them.

  • Berr,

Ohhh yeah, baby!! My Ray looks like a Mountain Man there!!!! Wonder if he's like to go campin'????? hmmm?

  • I must agree, Ray was also great. I do miss seeing him, too.

  • What a great version of this song. I noticed something cute, too. When John finishes singing his part of the song and Justin takes over, John will still "mouth" the words even though he's not singing. Very cute. Like he's feeling the words and wants to sing them. He does that a lot on different songs I noticed. Sweet.

  • ap,

That is so sweet and precious! I never really thought about it before, or paid much attention. Ya see, that is why it is so cool to have this gang of "40 something" groupies to watch these vids! What one of us doesn't notice, another one will. Sooo cool!!! :)

  • terrijane:

Before I came to YouTube, I thought I was one of a few that loved this group. I didn't realize they still have a tremendous following. I'm glad I could help you "notice" something new. I love Mr. John's mouth. Wish I could be that lucky microphone..so close to it.

  • ap,

I'd like to be the lucky flute Ray is playing! :)

  • thomas is really doing great, too!

  • berrygirl, You are welcome. We Moody Blue fans are blessed with these wonderful group of guys.

  • Isn't Life Strange Is definately one of my favorites

  • berrygirl1964,

I miss seeing Ray.I wish he would rejoin them.

    What an awesome version

  • moodyfan,

Ray being gone...You know it makes me want to cry, cry, CRYYYYYYYY!!!!

:(((((( And yes, sometimes, I DO cry and I'm not ashamed of it.....

When I saw the Moody's in Charlotte in 1994, most of us DID cry when they performed this song. It is just one of those gut-wrenching songs that gets ya right in the heart. (reaches for a tissue****sniff****)

  • This song has an almost legendary quality to it. It's kind of like a queen song or a power balad of the 80's
