brett has a great voice! very unique at 17 yrs old. but some strong advice to him, i know he loves his guitar, but pleeease!! dont bring it on stage everytime you perform. most,(if not all) of last yrs. idols did, and i can say it was the most boring idols season ever! they came on stage and hid behind their instruments,(most of them guitars). hopefully brett wont do that, he will be one who stands out though,)(1) great voice, (2) great personality,(3) great hair!!!! go for it brett!!!!!!!
