I think the kinect is more innovative, but you have to understand that too gamers, many who ONLY play video games, do not have the skill, ability or stamina to do the real thing effectively. To answer those who are wondering if this thing uses legs. It does just not to the accuracy of the controllers. The controllers use the led lights to be tracked when the Playstation Eye tracks the rest of the body like a slightly less accurate Kinect (think eyetoy)
Though the big thing is that because it tracks colors of the LED you could have lights placed on different areas that would allow for pin point tracking. (say feet) so games like tekken could allow you to get your ass kicked but wit

First of all microsoft is still working on it, that was just a demo. Natal gives you control of everything not just your hands. Think about the things they can do like boxing or a good gladiator game. The sword thing he does looks so fake on the ps3, only his hands move, while natal provides full body movement. Natal can't wait.

Your missing the point. The Wii was made by Nintendo, who were bold enough to actually create it. If they had not done that, we might be a year or two behind on all motion-related games because of the investment lag created.
It revolutionized the motion-game market, but not gaming in general.
But if they did invest more on motion GAMES, then stuff like Project Natal could have come out sooner and for more games (MW2 for example.)

Project natal is better. The ps3 one looks like an anal probe and they coppy of the wii in every way. While xbox360 natal has no controller, by only using voice recognition and body movement.
i'm a little tired of all this. I love the wii and the ps3 and even the 360 has some good stuff. Each console has it's pros & cons. I like the wii because it's really interactive.I like the ps3 because it has hard core games & i don't have a 360 but it does't seem so bad. Even though my top is wii the motion sensor remote looks really cool. BTW to get this out of the way wii's graphics r good. Examples,twilight princess, metroid prime 3, conduit and a lot of other stuff.

is it just me or does anyone else see the horrendous lag between the persons ACTIONS and the video display on top. There seems to be a half a second of delay between the two interactions. Obviously this won't matter for casual gaming but this spells disaster for Racing, FPS, fighting, or other extremely sensitive types of games that require pinpoint accuracy.
Just to let you know, IT IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. It will not be out until the third quarter of 2010. And haven't you ever been to a concert, the big screen adds more lag than there actually is. By the time it is out the lag problem should be fixed, HOPEFULLY.

Natal was in beta during E3 (still is now if I'm correct), I think it's better. The PS3 Motion is just a copy of what the wiimote should have been, also it seemed that he couldn't hit the items when they nearly missed or clearly hit, both are still in beta I think.

Yes, Natal is a progression from EyeToy/webcams, but there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, Natal is a BIG step forward since it scans the environment in 3D, whereas EyeToy and others simply analyses 2D video. Hence Natal is what EyeToy/PSEye always wanted to be, but never quite was. Likewise, Sony's Wand is a progression from the Wiimote, taking the same principle from Nintendo but making theirs more accurate. Hence the origin doesn't matter, neither is better or worse, just different!

Spring 2010 here we come :X unless we're waiting for Natal, in that case we won't know how long we're waiting. 360 had its year to get ahead of PS3, next year the PS3 will probly have at least 3 or 4 months to make some of that up when it has the first-second launch into the motion devices.

i'm a little tired of all this. I love the wii and the ps3 and even the 360 has some good stuff. Each console has it's pros & cons. I like the wii because it's really interactive.I like the ps3 because it has hard core games & i don't have a 360 but it does't seem so bad. Even though my top is wii the motion sensor remote looks really cool. BTW to get this out of the way wii's graphics r good. Examples,twilight princess, metroid prime 3, conduit and a lot of other stuff.

is it just me or does anyone else see the horrendous lag between the persons ACTIONS and the video display on top. There seems to be a half a second of delay between the two interactions. Obviously this won't matter for casual gaming but this spells disaster for Racing, FPS, fighting, or other extremely sensitive types of games that require pinpoint accuracy.

Just to let you know, IT IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. It will not be out until the third quarter of 2010. And haven't you ever been to a concert, the big screen adds more lag than there actually is. By the time it is out the lag problem should be fixed, HOPEFULLY.

it can also clone objects in the real world and put them in some of the games they had for it......it also has voice communication

Did you not read my comment I said ANTIQUE. People buy old Gaming systems for a load of money if they are in good condition even if the graphics are rubbish. So the technology will have moved on but people will still buy it because it will be a rare item that people will be looking to complete thier collection. Got it?

Omfg I like the ps3 on I don't really litke the xbox 1 because there's a bunch of glitches in it and it's not so accurate but if the cam had a better frame rate it mabey would of done good but on the ps3 it's very very smoth and better then the wii-mote because it shows more the what u point at the archer part at the end is the best part out of both

Natal was in beta during E3 (still is now if I'm correct), I think it's better. The PS3 Motion is just a copy of what the wiimote should have been, also it seemed that he couldn't hit the items when they nearly missed or clearly hit, both are still in beta I think.

Yes, Natal is a progression from EyeToy/webcams, but there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, Natal is a BIG step forward since it scans the environment in 3D, whereas EyeToy and others simply analyses 2D video. Hence Natal is what EyeToy/PSEye always wanted to be, but never quite was. Likewise, Sony's Wand is a progression from the Wiimote, taking the same principle from Nintendo but making theirs more accurate. Hence the origin doesn't matter, neither is better or worse, just different!

Spring 2010 here we come :X unless we're waiting for Natal, in that case we won't know how long we're waiting. 360 had its year to get ahead of PS3, next year the PS3 will probly have at least 3 or 4 months to make some of that up when it has the first-second launch into the motion devices.
