  • tranquilocito,

Have you driven a car today? Put on deodorant, used shampoo, worn makeup, taken an antibiotic, or know someone with diabeties? The meat industry is SO MUCH MORE than just meat. 99% of the animal is used and trust me, every vegan benefits from the by-products. Steeric acid comes from cows, and it helps your tires not melt. Insulin cannot be made without cow by-products, so I hope you don't know anyone with diabetes. A vegan world isn't possible. Just think about it.

  • @cbi91 I use only animal free products and not using or eating animal products means you are much healthier than the normal population. So most vegans do not need all those products you talk about. And besides, meat eating is a risk factor for diabetes and most of the diseases in our civilized world. You cannot have luck and health if you are a graveyard for animals. Our world will become a vegan world or will perish. Meat eating is the most unsustainable thing in the world.

  • Jesus Says in the Bible the only true word of GOD: The love of money is the root of all evil.

  • Visit a farm and talk to a farmer. You'll see that they care about their animals and the environment. Learn why we do what we do and you'll see that it is not a money-hungry, environment-ravaging industry like the one that you are painting.

  • @mrsheilers I agree! I'm a dairy farmer because I love working outdoors, and I love working with my cows. Money is the last thing that comes to mind of all things!

  • @TheOmegaMan1976 But why then do you take the little calves away from their mothers to get the milk from the cows? Why don't you return to your original compassionate nature? Humankind has been cheated...I respect the work of farmers, but we all must wake up. Wake up before it is too late! We cannot treat the animals like slaves. We cannot send them to a slaughterhouse. We would not eat our dog or cat. But we should also not eat cows or pigs. It is against our soul's principle.

  • @tranquilocito Calves have little immunity in the first few weeks, hence, we separate them from their mothers as even the slightest bit of manure or other pathogens present in the barn can cause serious illness, such as bovine para tuberculosis. We treat them as employees, not slaves. They get regularly cleaned housing, nutritious feed, and medical care, all we seek in return is milk to provide us with nutrition and income. You base your argument off of emotion and not knowledge.

  • @TheOmegaMan1976 ...and when they are old and cannot give milk anymore, do you take care of them until they die naturally? I know someone who does so, but he does not even take the milk from the cows. He just provides them with all what they need and takes nothing in return, because he loves them so much and respects them and does not want to harm them anymore.

  • @tranquilocito The argument that they just die in their sleep is ignorant, as cows sleep for only 20 minutes a day. The cow’s organs begin to shut down, she is fully aware of the pain, and can be lying there for hours (a stun gun takes a fraction of a second). I have also seen animals such as vultures or coyotes begin consuming cows before they are dead. I do it because a cow deserves an honorable death, not laying in agony bellowing, I would rather not subject them to that pain.

  • Check your facts. Animal agriculture feeds the world it doesn't destroy it. Sit down and chat with a real farmer for the real story.

  • @mrsheilers Check your conscience. Why are male chicks grinded to death after being born? Why are cows treated as if they were machines? Why are antibiotics and hormones fed to the animals? And why are they slaughtered? All for cheap meat, meat which makes us sick and destroys our planet. Organic vegan farming feeds the world. I just talked to a farmer who listened to his heart and stopped this mad business and now has established a sanctuary for farm animals.

  • @mrsheilers I think the facts are stacked against you on this matter sorry. Unfortunately it appears that you are basing your argument off emotion and not intelligence. If you are attached to your current diet and hate to admit that you are therefore part of the problem, fine but maybe you should pick different battles. Maybe battles where the facts aren't important? Anyway this isn't about you as a person, so please don't get offended, instead please get educated. Cheers

  • and no one wants to talk about the industries' toxic fume emission? why is that?

  • how would that feed that they grow go to the hungry if that corn aint being bought the farm wont survive

  • @calfropingfordman Most of the feed is imported from developing countries where people suffer from malnutrition because their space is occupied by big soy companies who then sell their crops to feed the cattle in the western world. 90% of soy harvest is fed to cattle instead of being consumed directly by people. 1 billion people go to bed hungry every day. Why? Because of the destructive meat-business. It could cost us our whole planet, very soon if we do not wake up.

  • @tranquilocito ok im going to say im a damn farmer i raise cattle and alot of my family have feed lots and i have worked on them and the feedlots get there feed from american corn farmers and some of us grow our own alfalfa so you dont know a damn thing about farming but yet you yap at a farmer the bullshits spewing from your mouth is whats real pollution

  • @calfropingfordman I am sorry for offending you. But please watch this film: "A peacable kingdom" It is about some farmers in the US. They made a difference.

  • methane production by cattle breeding could be determing for reaching irreversible climate impacts such as methane releases from increased permafrost melt.

  • If we take the existence of homo erectus as 24 hours, the invention of agriculture is just 8 minutes ago. Before this, just around 7 Million people lived on the planet. 1500 we were 500 Million, now we are heading to become 10 Billion. If we can survive just 300 more years (15 sec.), as much homo sapiens could enjoy their lives in this period as in our entire history before.

  • finally when all plants are feed up by animal farming and most of the rainforests disappeared, humans will recognice, hwo important plants would have been to save our planet.

  • this video is utterly ridiculous and unnecessarily sensationalistic

  • good! worth each oen to see it

  • We must stop eat red meat, and don't eat too many white meat (each person one day eat less than 30g meat, 30g fish, 30g egg and 30g milk.)

    to save the Earth!

  • stop eat any meat at all!

because also fishing leads to oceanic dead zones

eggs , uses up to much energy to produce it , transportation and the dangerous pandemics not to mention

milk , every dairy cow will also have a calf that suddenly will be taken away from his mother, plus drinking milk will support meat production because at least 80% percent of cows will be killed after six years , because they don´t give enough milk anymore

    so be vegan

  • recommendations are not always useful, cause finally the consumer will do what he/she wants.

the information, that human can live 100% plant based, can help to develop tradtitons.

  • Global warming is the most critical issue in the world. Keeping veggie food is the most effective way of living to slow down the global warming effect.

  • It's really important.

  • It's so touching.

  • It's time to review what we did to this platnet.

I will never eat meat !

and I hope all the nations leaders can emphasize how important it is.

  • Everybody should watch this video. It's the very best on climate change I have ever seen.

  • We must be veg , go green , save the planet .

  • I think everybody needs to watch this.. so they all know the real facts on the connection between livestocks and global warming.. then together we can save our planet from destruction of the global warming...PLEASE...if you care our planet home.

  • How have You got such good translations?

  • Add deforestation for grazing and growing beans and grains for feed lot animals and you have an extra double whammy: release of carbon in the process of destroying forests and the loss of the forests for recycling and storing more carbon.
