I have a question for some of you..I have alot of quicktime videos I have made on disc;when I try and play them from the disc, the sound goes in and out ALOT...but after I transfer the video back to my PC,it works fine.Does that on all my disc.Its like it can't run it fast enough from the CD.

Hmm so the registration works, but i'm lost as to what to do now? I hit enter and all that happens is the quicktime logo, turns to quicktime pro, but that's about it.. :/ am i missing something? (using quicktime version 7.6.6, just installed it.)

@TakingBackScott after u get quicktime pro then do this

1) Open Quicktime player

2) select FILE from top and choose open file

3) Then choose the file u need to edit, and once u choose the file quciktime player opens the file

5) If u need to edit the video, for a example lets say u need to trim the video

6) in the quciktime player select EDIT from top

7) choose CUT

8) in the video timeline u can see 2 small wedges u can increase and decrease to trim video

if the registration works fine, then its proof that ur Quicktime player is updated with Quicktime pro. When i used the registration code in this vid, it accepted the code and registered me, but It didnt show my Quicktime player as Quciktime pro. because no installation takes place. Once u enter the registration code ur Quicktime player gets updated automatically to PRO and you are able to edit and trim videos. The only way you can check if its

updated to PRO is

the procedure to check if your Quicktime Player is Updated to PRO is

1) Open Quictime Player

2) Click EDIT from the top menu

3) See if the options CUT. COPY, TRIM TO SELECTION, ADD TO MOVIE are not highlighted in grey.

4) If u can click on those options and if they are not highlighted in grey that means ur quciktime player is already updated with PRO

5) when i registered it didnt show my Quicktime Player as Quicktime PRO. guess it is nothing to worry about :D

10) After you do that Select FILE and the SAVE AS, the save the file where u want in the pc

11) Open and check if the file plays and if its trimmed the way u wanted it to.

I am no pro at this, it is just something i figured out myslef. :)

To install the QuickTime Player 7 on Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard

Insert your Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard Install DVD.

Open the Optional Installs folder.

Double-click "Optional Installs.mpkg".

Select the QuickTime 7 option.

Click Continue.

QuickTime Player 7 will be installed in your Utilities folder.
