It works with a small nail or a toothpick also. Small spring in the center, just push and turn knob at the same time.

those are usually bedroom and bathrom locks, use a glases screwdriver or a very small blade screwdriver, i do it all the time for my room

i have tht same lock on my door. all u have to do it get something like a bobby pin and stick it in the hole and push forward. u can feel the spring inside going forward. keep on pushing and turn the knob and it will open.
