Why are bucket seats always so low? I mean, i understand it has to grab the driver, but can't they boost it up for better vision of the road, and still have the seat curve around the driver? is there a reason for the bucket seats being low?

bullshit, how can u swap a f20c for a k20a? k20 is a fantastic engine but f20c is last of the proper dohc vtecs, k20 has i vtec etc, f20c is based on h22a and infact some of the technologies used in f20c went on to be used in k20....donk knock the f20c it is been known to push out major power when tuned correctly, and being the only rwd inline 4 vtec its rare.
@tompointzero People have done it before. Honda Tuning magazine had a magazine cover article on one some time back. F20C is a great engine and all, but what Honda did best were FF cars...so based on that the K20A is still the best Honda engine ever made...

@lumbermouth For one, its harder to work on. Try getting to the starter without having to take off the manifold. Also with the exhaust in the back, the header is more likely to crack if its aftermarket. i'd want to just get a header, but now I have to consider getting aftermarket mounts on my rsx; Rather than on my older honda, i'd just get the header and work on other mods.
its about alot of factors with speed Ive raped lots of people in my turbo ek w/gsr but ive also raped the same cars in my camaro z28 w/ ls1. Its more about driver, drivetrain, tires, power to weight ratio and engine
@ovietec010 hahahaha How come my friends stock SR20VE rapes all the VTECS DOHC or not, its power delivery is way better and it doesnt need an engine rebuild every 3 months like a honda, And it sounds like a real engine not like a honda which sounds like a Hedge trimmer. PLus all honda engines can only last around 45 seconds of redlining before they burst into flames, I have redlined my SR20 for 4 minutes without any problems many times. I beat vtecs without VVL.

@REPOMAN24722 honestly, i agree with you in the s2000, the F series engine is crap. i personally go for either the Bseries or the Kseries, try test driving a b20 or a B18 engine mate, it has a good throttle response and good power output also. i agree SR engines are very nice it gives power throughout the rev-range. as for the exhaust, hondas are always ear piercing revving engines. but with a low tone exhaust like a HKS silent hi-power exhaust it will make a good sound :)
I'd love to see the suspension specs on the Honda Fit and how does it compare to the EK. Reason I ask, is because people say that the suspension on the EK is superior to that then found on the Fit.

either the EKs tires are rubbing when entering a corner or it's smokin' the brake pads braking... there's tons of smoke pouring out from the front, outside wheel when the car rounds an apex
its the tires... my bimmer did the same thing, ive went through lots of rubber scoring them off the fenders. then i dropped down a rim size and took off my camber kit and it stopped. they tuck inside the fenders now

Driving feel and balance is what's most important in a street car.

Well Tsukuba is a very tight track that tends to be a horsepower equalizer favoring lightweight, good handling cars, but even then the MR2, a rwd car, had the fastest track time proving that money spent is better placed in a different layout outside FF. When it comes down to it, no matter how highly tuned, you're still working on a econo layout or basically polishing a turd. Nothing wrong with that if you love Civics or something, but I'd rather start out with a better layout.

@rawkout That's because Ichishima-san's one cocky son-of-a-gun, known for stealing methods and techniques from a place he used to work at, before starting SPOON Sports, replica parts, and just bad business practices. It's beyond me why would someone like that work so closely with Tsuchiya-san. J's Racing on the other hand, seen as a "bad-ass" in Honda tuning, has it's own share of skeletons in their closet, replicating parts, and their president arrested a week ago on attempted murder charges.

not to mention (forgot what car) a 3300lbs car with 245 hp ran in 1:03. Not bad considering a civic wieght prabaly 1000lbs less with not too far off in power. Pathetic a k20 equipped 2300lbs or so civic can't do better than a 3300lb car with at most 30 hp more..lame and pathetic

@g086428 Did you even watch the video dumbass? Did you see those lap times for Tsukuba? 1:03 range. A Corvette ZO6 wont even do a lap that fast, or a mustang cobra or roush, nor will GTR V-Spec, or an NSX-R. FF car waste of money? I think not. You have tobe kidding me. Research before you share your ignorant, uneducated comments about a topic. Please tell me which V8's are you talking about that can even compete with those cars. :)

Well Tsukuba is a very tight track that tends to be a horsepower equalizer favoring lightweight, good handling cars, but even then the MR2, a rwd car, had the fastest track time proving that money spent is better placed in a different layout outside FF. When it comes down to it, no matter how highly tuned, you're still working on a econo layout or basically polishing a turd. Nothing wrong with that if you love Civics or something, but I'd rather start out with a better layout.
