@dalektaliban If you put an ice block into a turbine it wont make the turbine rotate and therefore no work is done, but if u put lets say flowing water into it that makes the turbine turn. If you now heat the water and it becomes vapor, vapor has a higher entropy which means that it has more energy to turn the turbine. Thats pretty much it.
