It's been over a year since I broke up with my fiance, bestfriend, my daughters father, and the man of my dreams. I listen to this album and just feel the pain and slowly but surely I feel a little better. There won't be a day that goes by I don't think of him and how I could change it. He's gone, and moved on I'll never know how he feels but my one biggest regret in life was letting him pack up his things and leave. Apart of me feels like he died. I love him.

All marriage is, is simply legal written papers binding you to your partner, so it's not exactly necessary. It's just a way of being faithful. As a composer myself, "Once" was nothing but a genuine inspiration to grab your guitar and write down all the music you have in your head. Glen Hansard changed my perception. He is an idol. An idol I've been looking for, for a long time.
I just finished watching this movie...It was really good. It captured a sense of realism that is missing in other plots. It was realistic, it was normal, and because it was normal it was magical. I think that that movie was so powerful, sole, because it was so realistic. The thought that, "That really could have happened," kind of blew me away. And epic chronicle of a man finding the courage to to regain his life, and finding this courage through his music and throug Marketa.
I always tell myself that there is no one out there like me.. or for me.. because nobody understands that I love this kind of stuff and want to believe that there is something special like real love and that not all the people are the same.. this remindes me that there are people like me.. and that I can find someone for me... thank you music

As a composer myself, "Once" was nothing but a genuine inspiration to grab your guitar and write down all the music you have in your head. Glen Hansard changed my perception. He is an idol. An idol I've been looking for, for a long time.

I just finished watching this movie...It was really good. It captured a sense of realism that is missing in other plots. It was realistic, it was normal, and because it was normal it was magical. I think that that movie was so powerful, sole, because it was so realistic. The thought that, "That really could have happened," kind of blew me away. And epic chronicle of a man finding the courage to to regain his life, and finding this courage through his music and throug Marketa.

@SuperHamster2 we have to remember that every head is a world of its own, there is no one like us, no body has same experiences and the way of feeling about them. We most remember and appreciate the fact that even that we are not the same there is people that stand by us and love us as we are, and we have to appreciate ourselves for the same capacity we have to do the same for others. We get lost trying to proof we are always right and we forget to see the big picture.

I remember one time when my girlfriend and I were watching this movie. We heard this song and it made her cry because she said that she didn't want us to end up like that. It's been two years since we broke up and when I hear this song I remember what she said on that day. She was the love of my life and the woman I wanted to marry. However, my addictions got in the way eventually I lost her. If you find the "one" don't loose them, because there's nothing worse.

But until we're six feet under, anything is possible. So if you've learned your lesson and you know she's the one, got get her!

Quiting your addictions is easier than you think, if you really love her - do it for her and first of all - do it for you. Good luck!!! :)

@Outerzoom i can kindof understand what your feeling...i have an addiction too, although of a different kind, and i did lose the one i loved to that...i guess that i hope you break your addiction...also...if you stay focused on the loss, you will never gain again-anonymous...i think what that person was trying to say is that if you focus on losing that girl, it'll be harder to break your addiction and get on with your life...and that person was definately talking about you...i know that... :|...
