where is that time machine now?

  • Similar Heartbreaking thing happened to me. Girl I liked just walked off as I was fixing my bike. Dont know what to do next. So I went to Al Wilson for comfort.

  • I went to that concert at the end of january, which was good. deep purple and renaissance were also on the bill.

  • This song gives me the chills...

    RIP Blind Owl and Bear

  • canned heat is beyond words, i'm so glad i have this vinyl *rip* owl, bear and sunflower

  • Mr. Alan Wilson, one of the most beautiful humans to have ever graced this planet! Here's a guy that is so amazing and talented that women should have been lining up to just sit at his feet. Sometimes i wonder what kind of crummy world we have going here

  • Awesome find!

  • Alan's talent is so sublime that seems supernatural

  • Where was I when the Heat did this? I remember a few of their songs but I really missed most of their good stuff.

  • the girl Alan was singin about must have felt real cheap when she heard this, right.

  • @madmexart - She Proberbly did not even realised what she had done to Poor Alan - I mean FITO Spent ages getting him Clean Clothes and Everything Ready for this Date - Alan said to Fito "This Chick really digs me" So Fito helped Alan.Fito came back to the Hotel Late and Found Poor Alan sitting Alone in the Foyer looking real sad !!

  • Right! Mayall´s "USA Union" project, I believe.

  • @Bukfan1 - Mayall's USA/UK Union was recorded on 27/28th of July 1970 in Los Angeles not sure why you have written this BukFan and that ON THE ROAD AGAIN Video on your page with Faded pictures is Bad - Who would rate that 5 times !!!

  • HAAKIE - I mentioned USA Union because you wrote Larry and Harvey joined Mayall. Maybe the context was´nt clear on my part. Sorry!

As for the "On The Road Again" video, I might have been too enthusiastic in my rating, probably because it´s my favorite CH song and the first CH song I heard so it has a special place in my heart.

  • @Bukfan1 Ok I understand you Loving "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" but why don't you save Our Official Videos for your Channel in your favorites ?

    - The Whole Reason I built these Videos in the first place was because of bad quality with Only One Picture or Faded or just awrful Mobile Phone Videos !! -

  • Good idea! I never thought of that. I did´nt know you could create your own channel out of videos you find on Youtube. I usually just keep them as "Favorites". I do subscribe to the official videos though.

  • He sounds like Hopkins and Skip James.

  • I love this song! This live version is better than the studio version on the "Future Blues" album.

The "´7o Concert (Live In Europe)" album is the best Canned Heat live album, I think.

Not that the live album from King Biscuit Flower Hour is´nt great too.

  • "All I should be feeding here is you". Anyone else notice the undertone here? Love it.

Best Canned Heat Song in my opinion. Also, there are a few versions of it and they are all quite different in my opinion.

Check out the live video one posted by ISB, it's fantastic!

    Thank you for the upload.

  • Oh Yes I notice all these things I'm glad you do Diamond Soul

  • Yes!!! Then, When went to the music show....when we went to the music......

  • And we wound up at your home but you ran away and hid left me walking the Streets of London ALL ALONE !! - Poor Alan !!!

  • God I wore this LP out ....so many good songs, thanks for posting a live version. Alan playing slide and Sunflower paying heed to the blues, laying off when the vocals or the slide is playing. Right on!

A harp players dream even tho Alan doesn't play blues harp on this cut. Everyone knows their place.

  • Harvey Mandel is on Guitar with Alan Wilson on this recording. To set things straight Harvey was in CANNED HEAT With Alan about 8 Months.

  • Thanks for setting me straight!!!

  • Harvey Mandel Joined CANNED HEAT in AUGUST 1969 just before WOODSTOCK Concert.

On MAY 26th/27th 1970 HOOKER & HEAT was recorded with HENRY "THE SUNFLOWER" VESTINE back on Guitar & Tony de la Barreda on Bass -

Larry Taylor and Harvey Mandel Joined JOHN MAYALL.

  • <3 .....

  • By the way, there are still some of us young 'uns out there who love Canned Heat. Your fantastic music is not lost to the younger generations.

  • Fantastic song and montage. Kudos!

  • GREAT JOB!

  • Amazing Song!

  • I made a New Video to the one on My Space Page.
