  • Truck alarm? Haa ha.

  • If you look at other video of fire services in Japan, this seems like a standard response. Other videos I've seen have like 10 apparatus for a simple fire alarm without a confirmed fire.

  • "2 truck alarm"??...hilarious!!

Just another "professional" critique of this fire service and it's protocols. (since you don't even have a clue what the incident...er, major production, was!)

  • After all the smoke cleared and the trucks left, I looked over the fire site. Small room off alley which seemed very small space for so many trucks. There may have been other hazards in the fire area to warrant the trucks.

  • Perhaps you didn't notice, but Tokyo is pretty dense. If a fire gets out of hand, it can spread very quickly. Traffic in the city can be very bad, so they start trucks from multiple stations in case one gets stuck in traffic. Plus the trucks are small (to maneuver through the narrow side streets) and don't carry a lot of equipment. That's why they send a lot of apparatus to every call. Better to be safe than sorry.

  • i have one thing to say... under ground fire?
