i really disagree with guitarmaniac about him being 2nd best blues player in the country. for one its a contest, just because you win doesnt mean your the best, theres plenty of guys that could destroy him, not to mention the blues players still alive from back in the day, namely buddy guy and b.b. king, or newer guys like eric gales. plus how are you going to call a white guy the best blues player...

youtube does this guy no justice what so all......i saw him on the Steve Vai tour and to be honest i was sceptical at first......and then I slipped into it....he is simply awesome...he owns the guitar and i wanted more, 1/2 an hour wasn't enough....jeese this guy can play and i mean really play....watch this space!

I know what you mean as well you can listen to both his cd's and watch him on the screen all you want but seeing him live is an experience of a life time. It's like he reaches into the core of your being and rips your soul out. It's the most beautiful feeling in the world.

Ok so you hear noise it might be the voices in your head (as you are apparently disturbed). He has tons of origional stuff. Plus two bands one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. Not to mention Steve Via would not waste his time with someone who had no talent. So figure out what talent really is then learn to appreciate it.

you're right..and srv was a copy cat too i guess. i've been enjoying all his vids, so you need to go somewhere else and find a current blues player who doesn't copy someone else's licks. oh, and by the way, many folks thought hendrix was a freak when i saw him back in the 60's.
