i am not a fat girl, but i do have a layer around my body that feels fatty. it is probably because i eat the wrong things, and don't exorcise BUT i just cannot find a way how to stop snacking... so i respect your dicipline
@joetoeb15 snacking is not wrong.. i encourage snacking but snack on healthy foods.. replace your snacks with natural foods, eggs, cottage cheese, berries and greek yogurt..

@achilleskade no tummy tuck.. and wouldn't want one unless i needed it. I was in my twenties when i lost the weight.. Your skin lasticity does bounce back, if you follow and 1-2lbs a week weight loss..
@achilleskade if you lose weight gradually your skin will follow. it's only when you do something drastic like gastric bypass that you'd need skin removal surgery or a tummy tuck.

That is amazing! I thought you were in your late 30's when you started..the weight loss took years off you! You have a rockin bod and I am sharing this with my sister who is on her weight loss journey and is starting P90x after seeing the results it gave my parents who are in their mid 50's! I agree though, it starts with nutrition, you really have to ask yourself before eating that tempting food is its really worth it?

@mountaingirl1995 take it slow.. i understand the loose skin fear but i rather have loose skin than being unhealthy.. your skin bounces back with time.. If the weight lost is too quick like those shows on tv you might end up with loose skin.. 1-2 lbs a week is very reasonable weight lost

@love1234228 Cellulite def. goes away when you tightened up your meals, drink plenty of water and weight train at the gym.. (squats, leg extensions, leg curls)

Even when I weighed so little. I can't lose weight like a normal person. I have 2 do exstreme work outs 2 lose any weight. It really sucks! I've tried everything 2 lose weight. It just does not work!
I ate when I was hungry which was not offen. I got bigger and bigger. When I started have kids I was 150 lbs. When PG I lost weight. I ate like a horse & still lost weight. I'd B like 10-15 lbs less when I had baby. I'd say if I could B PG & never have baby I'd have a kick *ss body. About 10 years after I was done having my kids I had 3. I found out I had PCOS, that was 1 of the reasons I couldn't get rid of the fat look.
I'd go home after school & run 2 miles B4 dinner. After dinner & doing the dishes I'd go for a 8 mile run. Come home do homework & go 2 bed early because I'm so tired & had 2 get up early 2 run again. Every1 still called me fat. So I just stopped running & said U want 2 see fat then here I will give U fat.
Themangelover1- I weighed 117 when I was a teen. I worked hard 2 B that weight. Every1 told me I was fat. After awhile I got tired of people telling me I was fat. I just couldn't keep up all the running I was doing 2 stay that weight. I'd run 4 miles in the morning B4 school, run after school w/ the CC running team 8 miles. Which I only joined 4 the running.

@nms125 Thank you for your advice. I started a 12 week challenge in order to lose a few Kgs for my 21st birthday. Iv been eating healthy but need to work on eating more often. Im currently doing a step class 2 times a week and 1-2 weight sessions a week. Im now down to 70kg thanks to u :) Im Greek so it does get hard not to over eat but its something i need to do in order to benefit from it in the future if not i will regret it in the long run. You look amazing! And best of all, you did it healthily. This just goes to show that (most) fad diets don't work, neither do cleanses or all of those crap dieting pills. What works is a healthy diet, exercise, willpower, and some supplements (and I do say SOME because not all of them work). Good job! You look healthier, happier, and even younger!

You Look fantastic. I am 47 years old and trying very hard to lose weight. I am on strong medications that have made me put on weight (weight gain is a side affect of the meds), but I refuse to give up. I even jog along the beach in soft sand every night - I am too embaressed to do it during the day - trying to develop claves and knees. I really like the way you posted photos of your calves because my legs are a big problem and it is inspiring to see the changes you have made. Good for you.

@AlexLoveMusic4Ever you can't really spot lose weight.. you lose all over, i don't have a flat stomach i do have a little belly lol... i lose about 1-2lbs a week when dieting.

When I look at your bicep it makes me feel that I don't have a bicep at all. Ok, I would feel so anyway. What's wrong, I've been training and training but I don't feel like I've gained any muscle. I think I eat enough proteins, meat, cheese, chicken, fish, milk and so on. I go to gym about 3-4 times a week and have done that for about 2,5 years. Is that just too short time?
@Dangerousefck99 it def. takes time.. i don't really gain much muscles myself so far i have been training for 10 yrs i have some good "girly:" muscles not that big - patience.. btw, replace your cheese with Cottage Cheese :-)

@Pumanish don't be afraid of loose skin.. 20 lbs is nothing.. you can lose that in 10 -12 weeks easy.. your skin will bounce back.. just take it slow..
last june , 1 was 195 lbs. i started working out(i worked out in the philippines) in july and ended around september 2nd.by that time, i was 163 lbs. i lost a lot of weight, and i felt good. i went back to canada around september 10th and right now(jan2012), i'm 172 lbs!! it's hard to find time to exercise because of school. i just can't find the time. :(
@mjchangedmylyf i know its not easy i work full time and yes its hard to find time sometimes esp. in the winter when you don't feel like leaving the house.. you only need an hour of your day..

I think this is a really awesome inspirational video for me... Though I do have one question, I am one hell of an emotional eater, and it usually comes down to drinking coca cola and stuffing myself with crisps... Got any tips for that? @LuneteFly Thank you :-) My weight gain was def. emotional.. the only tip is you have to decide when you had enough.. I don't run, you will hardly see me run lol.. I started out just by walking and swimming laps at an olympic size pool. Weight loss starts in the kitchen - proper nutrition, you will need to change your eating habits, eat 5-6 smaller meals include a lean protein to every meal and a low glycemic carbs and veggies and small fruits.. and you will lose all over.

@hremaddox whats important - health or the possibility of loose skin.. ? Depending your age your skin may be able to bounce back naturally with a weight loss of 1-2lbs a week.
Can u help me, I don't know what's wrong with me I train/workout alot and my eating habits aren't great but I don't stuff myself or anything yet I can't seem to lose weight at all!! I'm 19 and severely overweight I play soccer and love all sports Idk what to do my doctor said I should just diet but I've tried that to and because I fast alot it doesn't quite work out
@biasoccerstar10 it is diet.. most of it is diet, proper nutrition, you need to eat more often 5-6 meals with lean proteins and healthy carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes), fruits (berries), and veggies.

Themangelover1- I weighed 117 when I was a teen. I worked hard 2 B that weight. Every1 told me I was fat. After awhile I got tired of people telling me I was fat. I just couldn't keep up all the running I was doing 2 stay that weight. I'd run 4 miles in the morning B4 school, run after school w/ the CC running team 8 miles. Which I only joined 4 the running.

you look amazing! I was looking around for tips but it seems that many of the videos here are advertising supplements and diet pills or just show you their journey... I ABSOLUTELY love that you are actually willing to give advise, even providing a list of your groceries :), pep talks, and even turn the negative comments posted by viewers into positive advise for the rest of us. you are an angel at heart with the body of a goddess!

Hi greetings from Australia!!! firstly just wanted to congratulate u on such an amazing achievement!!! Im 20 years old and currently 75.9 kg I need to lose weight how do u recommend i go about it. what is the advice u can give. I want to be able to wear a bikini and not worry about how i look. @nms125 Thank you for your advice. I started a 12 week challenge in order to lose a few Kgs for my 21st birthday. Iv been eating healthy but need to work on eating more often. Im currently doing a step class 2 times a week and 1-2 weight sessions a week. Im now down to 70kg thanks to u :) Im Greek so it does get hard not to over eat but its something i need to do in order to benefit from it in the future if not i will regret it in the long run. You look amazing! And best of all, you did it healthily. This just goes to show that (most) fad diets don't work, neither do cleanses or all of those crap dieting pills. What works is a healthy diet, exercise, willpower, and some supplements (and I do say SOME because not all of them work). Good job! You look healthier, happier, and even younger!

Wow! Congratualtions, you are an inspiration :) I myself lost 60 pounds in 6 months, I feel incredible!!! My cousin sent me a link to an e-book by body builder Tom Venuto and since reading and applying all of his techniques (which actually make sense for once!) the fat melted away! You Look fantastic. I am 47 years old and trying very hard to lose weight. I am on strong medications that have made me put on weight (weight gain is a side affect of the meds), but I refuse to give up. I even jog along the beach in soft sand every night - I am too embaressed to do it during the day - trying to develop claves and knees. I really like the way you posted photos of your calves because my legs are a big problem and it is inspiring to see the changes you have made. Good for you.

When I look at your bicep it makes me feel that I don't have a bicep at all. Ok, I would feel so anyway. What's wrong, I've been training and training but I don't feel like I've gained any muscle. I think I eat enough proteins, meat, cheese, chicken, fish, milk and so on. I go to gym about 3-4 times a week and have done that for about 2,5 years. Is that just too short time?

@Pumanish don't be afraid of loose skin.. 20 lbs is nothing.. you can lose that in 10 -12 weeks easy.. your skin will bounce back.. just take it slow..

last june , 1 was 195 lbs. i started working out(i worked out in the philippines) in july and ended around september 2nd.by that time, i was 163 lbs. i lost a lot of weight, and i felt good. i went back to canada around september 10th and right now(jan2012), i'm 172 lbs!! it's hard to find time to exercise because of school. i just can't find the time. :(

I think this is a really awesome inspirational video for me... Though I do have one question, I am one hell of an emotional eater, and it usually comes down to drinking coca cola and stuffing myself with crisps... Got any tips for that? I try my best to loose weight, I try to run twice a week now, just to start with something, then build it up to something more, I want to go to the gym as well, what would you recommend for loosing weight around your tummy/waist area and legs? @LuneteFly Thank you :-) My weight gain was def. emotional.. the only tip is you have to decide when you had enough.. I don't run, you will hardly see me run lol.. I started out just by walking and swimming laps at an olympic size pool. Weight loss starts in the kitchen - proper nutrition, you will need to change your eating habits, eat 5-6 smaller meals include a lean protein to every meal and a low glycemic carbs and veggies and small fruits.. and you will lose all over.

Can u help me, I don't know what's wrong with me I train/workout alot and my eating habits aren't great but I don't stuff myself or anything yet I can't seem to lose weight at all!! I'm 19 and severely overweight I play soccer and love all sports Idk what to do my doctor said I should just diet but I've tried that to and because I fast alot it doesn't quite work out

@biasoccerstar10 it is diet.. most of it is diet, proper nutrition, you need to eat more often 5-6 meals with lean proteins and healthy carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes), fruits (berries), and veggies.
