  • Interesting version.

  • What a marvelous performance. It would have made George very proud.

  • Macca + Clapton = epic!

  • They need a "Love" button on here!

  • Thumbs up if you searched "Something" Beucase you were Bored

  • Frank Sinatra called this one of the greatest Love Songs ever written ...but we all know that love is just an illusion (wink)

  • great performance....

  • Soooo sweet! Thank you Bruce H! <3

  • touching, indeed.

  • Excelente!!! no me canso de ver este gran video.. hermosa canción, gran inspiración de George.... y Paul como siempre un fenómeno de la música.

  • With exception of the ukulele bit, this is more powerful than recorded version. At some point George returns, the music suddenly changes, the guys really get into it.

  • grande george te extrañamos!

  • I cant believe McCartneys voice when he gets up there for the high notes...

  • this has great sound quality 5*

  • ezduzit, if you were a beatles fan then you should be simply elated that so many legends came out to honor george. its very rare that so many music gods come out on one stage to give a performance like this, thats what makes it so special

  • Nice audio quality. Thanks for the upload.

  • George Harrison, LEGEND! the beatles wouldnt of never been half as good without him! the backbone! x

  • without ANYONE of them....

  • well dunno bout Ringo but yeh

  • easyduzit you're a douche, this is a great version and all of these extra people make the song awesome. this was made in george's honor and you're a straight up douche for dissing it. plus all of these "old fucks" are the best out there, so you're a bitch

  • great performance

  • shut up.

  • You've got a point, but it was a concert and a tribute. special case. you will get old all too soon. the sooner the better.

  • If you paid any attention to what he says at the beginning you'd know why he was playing the ukelele.

  • brilliant

  • omg...

  • Ringo's there! :D

Why are there so many drummers?

  • some of them are for the bongos.

    different sounds i guess.

i'm not sure but it didn't do anything bad for any of the performances haha

    beautiful tribute to george.

    R.I.P. =/

  • Sir George magnifico ...Saudades

  • Oh my, what I would give to have been there!!!! Amazing

  • This is so beautiful and filled with so much soul...

Why can't the music of this day be as beautiful as this? I guess I'll never know...

  • im crying right now.

  • 3:17 to 3:40 .... fantastic!

  • how beautiful this song is.... a great gig, for a great men of this generation, thanks George for this soulful music

  • the best music 4ever ;')

  • i miss george! =(

  • Thanks for dedicate it to me! ;)

  • George Harrison's compositions were so soulful.

  • so beautiful, ;)

  • Im pretty sure its a dvd on this one, its called "Concert for George" =)

  • can anyone tell me if this came out on dvd?, the name of it would be just fine too

  • i have this on dvd and on the cover it says "concert for george"

  • Lol I covered this song with my friend with the ukulele. This is called : The Birdbrains - Something in the way by George Harrison. That was funny

  • amazing, simply touching

  • Sweet,oh so sweet.

  • something in this song...

  • Perfect

  • this song puts shivers down my spine and makes me fel real chilled , u cant get better tbh

  • fuckin amazin! (sorry for the profanity kids)

  • beautiful I love this version

  • Notice all of George's pals in this line-up - fantastic! What talent!

  • Beautiful..!

  • Paul usually plays a Gibson ukulele given to him by George more than 25 years ago.

  • Wow, Clapton and McCartney's voices mesh so well together! I love the Billy Preston keyboard runs during Paul's uke part.

  • so close to a million views. i love this song

  • its over a million views now lol

  • HELLZ yea! ewarlier it wasnt

  • Perfecto, me gustaria mucho ver a Paul en Bogota, Colombia... seria un exito seguro!!

  • sin duda el mejor ...my sweet george

  • & fmt = 18 if added to the address, you can listen in stereo.

  • Paul, Ringo, Jeff and who is that dude ??? lol . Brilliant post!!!

  • what a wonderful concert

    everything was simply perfect

great song with McCartney and Clapton

  • One of the all-time best Beatle songs!

  • i love how clapton and mccartney sing it together as a duet :D

  • Me too!

But I think that Paul sings it alone better than how Clapton sings it.

    But together they are great.

  • @piratexdez1701 Don't forget Jeff Lynne with Eric!

  • wow amazing vocals

  • one of the greatest love ballads ever... funny how many claim that george wrote this for pattie boyd, who ended up marrying eric clapton (singing with paul) after her divorce from george...

  • I see Albert Lee back there on the black and white Everly Brother acoustic guitar.

  • Fantastic! George Harrison was a talented Musician.

  • hE'S SO CUTE

  • lol theres one part where paul sung show for a bit longer then clapton and felt bad i think

  • This is such an amazing performance. Very heart felt vocals from Paul and Eric. The guitarist that did the lead was spot-on. George would be proud.

  • We miss you George, our brother.

  • This has made me cry every time.

    We love you, George.

  • Holy Shitballs!!! There will never be that much awsomeness on one stage on the same time ever again doing such an amazing song!

  • someone knows who plays lead guitar here? it's perfect ...

  • Marc Mann

  • clapton.?

  • Yes.

  • I think, possibly, Andy Fairweather-Low?

  • no, Jeff Lynne from ELO.

  • I stand by my guess, definitely not Jeff Lynn. The guy on Paul's left as we view it, (o.8secs) is Andy Fair-weather-Low; you might be able to distinguish him from Jeff Lynn. But to help you, Jeff is the one is the one with the beard (Andy does not have one) check out EC's unplugged u-tube for more AF-L

  • Sorry mate I thought you talking about the one on Eric's right!!! lol

  • Anyone who doesn't like this is a tone deaf fuckwit.... This is Pure British brilliance

  • anyone know what key he plays this in, or the chords even

  • Hey, I think I may have figured it out. The original song starts in the key of C, and for the bridge modulates to A. However this version is different. The verse first starts in B flat, and for the first bridge modulates to G (the equivalent of C modulating to A), however, for the solo, they go to the key of what the original song was, and remain switching between C and A for the duration of the song. Simplified, I guess you could say everything up until the solo is moved down two semitones.

  • It's probably because Sir Paul sings better in B flat and G, but leave the guitar part in the original so the can easily play it without a capo.

  • Yeah I agree your right probably.

  • Good job analyzing that, though. I just lazily came along and read it and made a guess.

  • Possibly, but it could also be because it's a more effective key to play this son on uke. A lot of keys aren't very good uke wise, because open chordings sound much better...

  • YOU suck.

This song and this version kick ass.

  • I'm 50 yrs old and i've been listening to the Beatles since i was 6 . This is the best version of this song i ever heard other then the Beatles themselves . Hands down . Period ...

  • I would have given my left arm to be at that concert!!! R.I.P. George Harrison

  • does anyone else think that this song was written 4 that moment? gr8 stuff, best version ;D

  • shut up

    tis a great version

  • "Tis?" what do they only teach you 19th century English where you're from.

  • if that is a 'cuss' then it is a pretty shit one as i go to one of the best secondary schools/colleges in London and i come from England, u fucking cunt ass knob

  • That's the spirit! See if they'll teach you how to swear properly. Então, Penso que o teu inglés é melhor do que o meu português.

  • firstly schools do not teach students how to swear

Also there were no spelling mistakes in my last port so you probably need to go back to school you retard

  • Check again. We typically capitalize the first letter of every sentence and the personal pronoun "I." You could also mix in some punctuation, such as commas and periods to end your sentences and clauses. And, did you mean "post" when you wrote "port?" If I were you, my friend, I'd march right back into that fancy school you go to in London and demand your money back, because you're certainly not getting what you're paying for.

  • Bravo, i must say bravo

Unfortunately firstly i am still in full time education

Also I do not go to a private school so i find you're last comment ignorant and naive as you have made the presumption that all great schools are private, a big mistake indeed

    Anyway, have a nice Christmas

  • Well, thanks for the compliment, and you got me. I did presume that since your school is one of the best in London, it was private. So as we say on my side of the pond, my bad. Good luck on your education. I'm probably three times older than you and I'm still learning. Thanks for the lesson. Have a nice Christmas too.

  • everyone says my grandpa was better then Clapton. Of course he was pro before record deals and all but I got to listen to this stuff my whole life & wounder where the real music has gone.

  • ure grandpa?

  • I particularly enjoy the calpping along in the beginning. Absolutely charming.

  • same here.. :D

  • Shut up! That has nothing to do with this video!

  • can you tell me who these all guitarists behind Paul are (of course except Eric Clapton) and who is who??

  • Marc Mann's the guy in the hat.

Albert Lee's the guy with the long grey hair.

Jeff Lynne's got a beard and long hair.

    (Feels like Guess Who lol)

  • the beatles ,paul mcartney ,john lennon....best band of all time and greatest songwriters in modern musical history....end of story...no need for arguments.......

  • paul says that coz it one of georges songs paul has learnt and to do it in diffrent styles ;D

  • He said There's a song I do, cos he clearly sings it, which makes it a cover.... You moron

  • paul is greatest alive musician for sure

  • him and ringo starr

  • the cream ;D

  • WOW is that Billy Preston on organ? Eric Clapton on guitar and Jeff Lynne to his right (a genius in his own right) must be wetting himself at being on stage with Paul and Ringo!

  • Absolutely true.

  • I must say this version is just amazing, how all the instrunents sound together, simply amazing. :]

  • george i love u

  • That rapidcharlie129 may you be free from demons and their opression. Don't go around scaring anyone.

  • God Bless You George! The world is a sadder place for losing you, our loss is heaven's gain! Till we meet again!

  • Beautiful, like George.

  • Wonderful.

  • paul's harmony from 3:15-3:45 is so badass!

after all the years and he still nails those notes!

    what a musician!

  • The best version ever....other than the original of course.

    what a great composition..

    and what a great performance..

Paul sounds so great here ...in the begining and in the harmony at end..

  • It's an Ukele, similar to the Cavaquinho here in Brazil. It's an Indian instrument.

  • beautiful

  • What a line up.

  • my fav beatles song, love claptons voice

  • Would God steal another man's wife?

  • he didnt steal her ,george gave her to him...they called each other husband and laws..lol

  • Funny.... his (Eric's) biography say somethin different... you know, that he relentlessly chased after another man's wife with complete disregard for the man's (George's) feelings.

  • Claptons voice on this one is a little weird.. at least for me.

I like it more when Mccartney sings it. :)

  • That's strange.. George had written this song for Pattie and then Eric sang it Oo

  • Lol

  • George wasnt in love with her ..he gave her to clapton..thats why they called each other husband an laws...lol

  • George wasn't in love with Pattie? Oh please! Of course he was. At least when he wrote it...

  • This has always been my favourite video on YouTube, ever since I started visiting regularly.

George was a beautiful man, and a great musician. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him or knew of him. 7 years ago today he passed away...I know he's in a good place.

  • that is sutch a fab version i think i will join u with the tears ;(

  • I am fighting against the tears... great song! Thanks for sharing!
