@3O2MuStAnG The foxbody actually was on like a 200 shot or so. The 12.2 was a joke because that's what the guy was saying it ran. You can see how hard it launches it picks up the tires a bit even. The 240 was also on 22psi making well over 500whp at that time. The 240s street ability was decent, the only thing that sucked was the TH400. I sold it though, now I'm rolling in a 2011 Mustang GT. Much slower but no problems with the police.

@Shitboxfox No, He didnt run out of gear. The 240 traps at over 130mph and that night had well over 500whp (Not just 410whp) launching on a transbrake. I did that race with zero burnout as you can see I was allover the road. The Mustang was running a 150 or 200 shot (can't remember). Both of these cars were running in the 10s that night. Don't come on here like you are some car genius. The 240sx is 2600lbs (w/o driver) and 500+whp on pump gas with a single turbo 2JZ. Faster is faster sorry

fox bodys are capable of much more whith H/C/I than a stock long block obviously I have seen high 9's with a stock shortblock. I had a Buick Grand National and was running a 66mm have seen them run a pt-70 with the stock block and go deep into the 9's turbo buicks are the end all be all in 1/4 mile performance I.M.O. I also had a G- body malibu with a 468ci LS-5 block built to L-88 specs ran a best of 11.96 on street tires trying to stay out of the wall.
As far as imports go just not my thing I know there are SOME fast cars out there. Ya the firewall was a lil modified. The 1jz trans don't really hold power. The Getrag 6sp is good, but I wanted to be fast so I went with the th400 which mine can hold over 1000tq.
The shifter is auto so it's a cable shift so it does not have to line up like a manual would, but it lines up fairly close. Close enough for the shifter to work fine.
Which cross member? For the Trans? It's a custom one which had to be made. Does someone make one for the 240 th400 swap now? Thanks.. I don't drive it much anymore unfortunately. I'm gonna try to start driving it more.
The 2j trans fit fine, it was hard getting the 400 in, if the engine was any more forward there would be no room in the front of the car (radiator, etc.) so I modified the firewall a bit.
