I am inspired by your video, thank you so much! and will you be putting more of these skulls that you've created for sale in your etsy store again!!? I would love to purchase some from you! =)
These are sooooo awesome - I've been wanting to make these for such a long time but never knew how to actually make them! Thanks so much for posting this - it's such a help!!!They are soo coool!! P.S Your girls are cute :)
great tutorial thanks so much for sharing! you have very beautiful assistants, i loved hearing the little voices in the background. i have a 2 1/2 year old helper. :)
Just a tip from a newbie clay addict, you could use a small piece of raw clay to get the clay out of the mold. Your the expert, though, thanks for the new video. :)
It may just be my imagination, but I think I get less clay stickage with a little alcohol in the mix. If I need to clean off my table/tools really well I always use straight rubbing alcohol...so I figured it could only help out in my release agent too!
You know, since I use a lot of the pearl clay in my skulls color mixes I get some swirly mica shifting w/out even trying. But as for a planned, stamped mica shift design..no, I've never tried that.
wow so awesome! Its awesome to know you make the skull beads yourself and you made the mold! very impressive!! very informative style!!

do you paint the different colors onto the skulls or use different colord clay?
beadbabe13 2 years ago
The skull itself is different colors of clay. The only paint is what I apply to the eyes, nose, & mouth.

Hey Christy, nice vid I thought thats how you did them. Why do you use a water alcohol mix as opposed to just water?

Hi Pam (I hope this is Pam/clayangelsc) LOL!
