you could wear skate shoes or boots.when you wear snowboard boots you cant flip or anything.when you wear skate shoes you can flip it but if you get snow in yur shoe it sucks.just google up snowskate shoes there usually like 60-70 dollars and theyre made by dvs and vans.there also more grippy on the grip of the snowskate

I use skate shoes their really good for this. It just sucks when u have a foam grip and it gets icy because skate shoes don't have that good grip but u can do more.

u can if you never want to use that skateboard again.... and snow will get in the bolt holes so u needa fill them and wax the bottom alot. way more worth it to spend 60 on a snowskate
