No ticket would not be issued as Cops do NOT know who is driving the vehicle. They can't ticket the owner because owner is not responsible for the action of the driver. yea we just got it like i think this summer then we have a 2004 KME spartan pumper that we got in 2004 and its about an inche smaller than the rescue and we have a 1981 gowans knights spartan that isnt as big but its fast and speedy to get to call (its a pumer)

@fleamarketfan I just recently retired from the fire service here in Oregon. I dont know of a single department in the Willamette Valley that uses the Power Call siren. It must be an east coast thing. Personaly if i were the AO or on the design comittee for apparatus, I would have just settled for a good old Whelan and a Q. That power call is anoying...
Powercall sirens are horrible. For all the Powercall siren fans out there, good for you but I am not a fan. Other than that, your rescue seems pretty cool.

kevin; I used one of the original GE powercall sirens and never really cared for that yelp sound. I preferred to control it like a mech. siren by using the horn ring.

It must be an east coast thing. Personaly if i were the AO or on the design comittee for apparatus, I would have just settled for a good old Whelan and a Q. That power call is anoying...

Powercall sirens are horrible. For all the Powercall siren fans out there, good for you but I am not a fan. Other than that, your rescue seems pretty cool.

The Unitrol 80k is the best electronic siren out there. Couple that with a Federal "Q" and you're good to go.

Anyone who doesn't like the Powercall siren probably has never used one.
They take a little getting used to but they DO move traffic. It's something different than the Federals, Whelens, etc that people have heard forever.
That's what makes it so effective.

kevin; I used one of the original GE powercall sirens and never really cared for that yelp sound. I preferred to control it like a mech. siren by using the horn ring.
