  • Macs give a small, grey, translucent box. It's a GBOD (grey box of death) instead of a BSOD

  • Not to PC users:

Don't click on Mac videos just so you can troll about how great your "gaming machine" is. If your upset that you don't have a Mac keep it to yourself.

  • The PC is for games argument is so freaking old. I have a MacBook Pro and I play games COD, BF3 etc...) on it all the time.

  • PC are not just for games The CGI rendering and animating for the Star Wars prequils was done on PC Many do music production on a PC. Some of the best software synthesizers and CGI software are windows only.

  • PC is for games, and Macs are for people like me who have to make money.. I don't live off of my mother's money to game all day in a basement, sorry.. until then I will switch to PC

  • 128 people realize apple stole this whole thing from "The Postal Service - Such Great Heights" and it was produced by the same people who made the music video "Josh & Xander" 0:03 where the robot pulls out the chip is almost exactly the same shot. The other 749 people are in ignorant bliss.

  • funny because that's a windows error. not a OSX one.

  • Ok now everyone is fighting over pc and macs. People use different operating systems for the thing that the operating system specializes in. A person buys a pc if it helps them get their work done same with a Mac. ( let's not even bring ubuntu in we can all agree on that I hope)

  • thumbs up if you're watching this on an intel based mac

  • yep, thanks intel!

  • Глупость , X86 процессор не является залогом возникновения BSOD .

  • BSOD in Mac OS X Tiger?Funny.

  • rofl=))))))

  • funny windows fags come to a video CLEARLY saying mac in it, just to troll around... PS your crapware PCs NEED the extra power to perform the same job, so stop trying to showing off.... your just making your self look like a douche... macs DO get viruses but very rarely and it IS much more secure then windows cuz its based on UNIX while windows is based on some other shit... end of discussion... now go play with your black plastic toys...

  • @jack390

A $2000 paperweight can run the same apps as a $600 PC at the same speeds with equivilent RAM, HDD space, and CPU speed. Why spend $400 more for a false sense of security when for less than $1500 you can get a machine capable of dual-booting Ubuntu+Windows so you still have your "security" and can run faster than a paperweight.

  • @v9vREBORN bahahaha retard, dont talk shit and see the truth... its not a false sense of security....it is actually more secure then windows will ever be cuz its on UNIX.... and double boot? why would you want to do that? cuz you wont be happy with your crapware when you buy it? xD and in relation to speeds, b4 you become a retard in public, go check out some speed test comparison for macs and PCs running the same apps (like iTunes, VLC, Photoshop etc) and then talk moron....

  • @jack390

By more secure, you mean less exploited. But that's about to change anyway. BTW, lets see how much a custom PC with AMD Crossfire compares to your iMac. Lets compare the framerates on your iMac.

Judging by your amazing spelling skills, and the speed at which you start to call me a "moron" and a "retard", you just bought a mac to brag, while your friends are having fun on their custom PCs playing GPU intensive games without any hiccups on their system.

  • @v9vREBORN and for the record, if you can "dual boot" i can triple boot.... there will always be one more option for macs.... lol so you enjoy your plastic piece of crap that'll kill you

  • @jack390

LOL I can triple boot too!

    Ubuntu 11 + Windows 7 + Windows XP.

I don't see you being able to boot older versions of OSX on your computer.

  • @v9vREBORN I'm able to run Win 7 + OSX Tiger + OSX Snow Leopard on mine.

  • @jack390

Undoubtedly you're being a hypocrite because all PCs, regardless of manufacturer be it Apple, Dell, Foxconn, or eMachines contain plastic somewhere, and:

    1. I have a PC with an aluminium case.

    2. Every single iMac produced has a plastic case.

  • @v9vREBORN I must be imagining that my 27" iMac in front of me has an all aluminum case then. Do some research before posting crap.

  • People who say that Mac computer are overpriced have never actually priced one. They are going by what someone has told them without doing research. I have priced many computers, Windows and Mac alike. I have never found the price margin to be significant. If you build a Windows computer with a high quality webcam, a top end video card, a lit keyboard, a LED screen that is practically HD quality, and all sorts of software (what Macbooks come standard with), it will cost the same OR more.

  • @DartgunProd I built my gaming rig two years ago with 6GB DDR3 1600 MHz triple channel RAM, a Sapphire Radeon HD 4850X2 2GB, a Core i7 920 overclocked to 3.6 GHz, a 22" 1080p monitor and a gaming keyboard and mouse. An iMac for that price was nowhere close to that kind of performance; only a $3000 Mac Pro could compete with it. Even now, a 21.5" Core i7 iMac w/ a crappy gfx card costs $1700, and back then, you couldn't even GET a Core i7 iMac. I don't know what price margin you're looking at.

  • @tanmaniac

True, if you build your own computer, you can save money. If you're customizing it from a manufacturer, it's near impossible. I bet you could build an overclocked quad-core Mac for less than $3000 if you build it yourself. That's the thing, you gotta be willing to shop for the parts and put it together. Most people who buy computers these days either don't want to go to all that trouble or they don't know how, and they opt to buy a computer pre-built.

  • @DartgunProd The thing is, you can't legally build a quad-core overclocked Mac... I have OSX running on my rig, but it's neither easy nor legal to do so. But what you say is true, the average consumer will be more likely to want a pre-built system than building one himself. About the video editing, though - really, do most Mac users do professional video editing? I've found that none of my friends who use Macs edit videos, and all of my media-editing friends (including me) all use PCs.

  • @tanmaniac

Yeah, it pretty much comes down to preference and what you're willing to do yourself. It would be idiotic for me to say Mac is superior to Windows in anything, I just find that Mac software is easy to use and still creates professional results. Honestly, I kinda wish I had money to spend on a new Windows computer for gaming, but I have a Mac currently and that's what I'll work with.

  • @tanmaniac

You're correct in saying you can't buy an iMac for $1700 with the specs you provided, but you're not comparing apples to apples. An iMac is a pre-built all in one, the most convenient computer in the world. It's not and never will be a top of the line gaming computer built by scratch. Now, say you take an old Mac Pro (maybe just the tower case) and overload it. It would be much faster than an iMac of even price, and much more comparable with the computer you built.

  • @tanmaniac

The last thing I'll say is that Mac computers are not built for gaming in the first place. Their primary purpose is is for other uses, such as video, picture, music editing, and other projects. I'm not a fanboy, I don't bash on Windows because I think they're weak, I actually like a lot of what they have to offer. I find gaming on Xbox 360 better than on a computer, or I'd own a rig similar to yours. I'm a student, and I find that Mac does what I need it to do better than Windows.

  • @DartgunProd But yeah, really, it all comes down to preference. I prefer to get my hands dirty and mess around with hardware and software, whereas the average consumer clearly doesn't want to deal with that. I am a student as well, and I prefer using Windows and Linux because I'm also a gamer and a geek. I have nothing against Macs as well, I just don't like Apple's insane price premiums for a product that really isn't all that special.

  • For once I don't see 16 year olds making those computer parts

  • BSoD!

  • Wtf. That is what happens if u run WINDOWS XP on a MAC!!

  • I'm not gonna sit here and whine about my opinion on the mac, I'm sticking with PC and nobody will change that :D

  • WIN! :D

    -A fanatic powermac user

  • dull tasks? well you can do basicly the same things on mac and pc. but in my opinion pcs are better for customazation purposses. for instance if you get an imac and a new graphics card comes out you want, you cant use it because apple dosent like people improving or enhancing there products. unlike windows based pcs were you can change it as much as you like and build a great gaming rigs!

  • FAIL! at the end~

  • I already knew what was the ''special ending'' by the title.

    Typically cheap macfag humor.

  • This commercial just made me remember why i stuck with my quad power mac G5.

  • @psycofloyd no shit a computer is faster than a boat anchor. Also, a ferrari is faster than a rock -.-

  • non è divertente.

  • Some people find it a virtue to be not cool enough for Mac's :)

My $500 gaming rig is faster than your $2000 boat anchor.

  • @psycofloyd gaming rig, its a computer not a toy, how old are you, 5?

  • @psycofloyd First off a computer is more than a cpu, its SOFTWARE AND BEAUTIFUL HARDWARE, MOST IMPORTANTLY ITS A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE .....that is something you're 500 Toy can never provide.

  • @KyleIsKoolerThanYou I'm sorry what was that you said? I didn't hear you because I was too busy pwning n00bs at BF3!

  • @psycofloyd I'm sorry i didn't hear what you said i don't speak dork.

  • @KyleIsKoolerThanYou Like I said, some people find it a virtue to not be cool enough for Apple :)

  • @psycofloyd what kind of gaming rig can you build for 500 dollars. An i7 and the respective motherboard alone costs that.

  • Lol it's so true

    Pc is better

  • in school we have macs and pcs, there is no big diffrence... they both work as fast with the proper hardware and crash as easy with shitty hardware. at home i use a pc, becuase vor the same hardware in a mac, i would pay the tripple price

  • a cpu is differant to the operating system, macs wont get BSOD, it is not a annoying feature in a mac. I am using windows, but i really wanna mac.

  • @Testbuildlabs You are full of fail, I hope you know that. There is no shitty operating system, only stupid users. I've got a laptop at home, which has a very badly damaged file system/hardware also, and it's 6 years old by now. Yet, since I've got it, it only broke down twice. And not a single BSOD, only hardware issues.

  • I'll just play battlefield bad company 2 and Crysis while my friend makes a photo album :)

  • this ad has been made by a 5 years Mac fan or what? So stupid, like every "i hate Mac" or "i hate Pc" dude...

  • I don't understand all those platform wars like PC vs. Mac, Ps3 vs. Xbox 360, Psp vs. DS and so on... It's just plain stupidity. I think we live in a world where anyone can choose what he wants for himself. I love macs+intel for the fact that they are the best workhorses for music production and many software companies produce mac exclusive software for that purpose. If you're a gamer you'd better pick the PC+AMD/ATI combination. And there are people who don't give a damn about pc games.

  • ...doing dull little tas--- *video interrupts* *shows MASSIVE crysis action on a PC*

  • should have been the other way round, macs do dull little tasks and cant do simple stuff like msn messenger (i hate the mac edition) or microsoft office (also there is a mac edition but its shit) and anything else for that matter.

  • too bad macs only do that when you run windows on them!

  • It`s been almost 5 years to see a blue screen.Get over it!

  • Apple now make their own chips. lol

  • rampage iii extreme FTW it's special power capabilities let you smoke a large percent of Macs at a fraction of the price, especially when a 920 goes against a xeon power mac. you're playing with plasma, aka the sun!

  • the 107 guys who didnt like it are apple nazis who dont understand fun thumbs up if you agree

  • this edit is so funny

  • Mac can go suck- I mean f**k it. WINDOWS XP, VISTA, AND 7 FTW!!!

  • lol

  • It is funny how Apple always used to make fun of Intels Cpu's.

  • mac dont get BUESCREENOFDEATH , nope they gets KERNELPANICS which its the same thing but more *c00L*

  • funck you mac go fuck your self idiot with yout mac shit

  • uneducated people use PC's. This is proof.

  • @Kost09

Not all of us have mother fucking 2000$ to buy a god damned Mac.

If I had 2000$ I would have bought a freaking motor bike, and still have enough money left to buy an even stronger PC.

  • @Stojke2K9 You realize not all macs cost that much, right? I just paid $520 for mine. And the average life of a PC is about 4 years. My music teacher still has her Macintosh II from 1990 and it still runs beautifully. So, in retrospect, you may be paying more at the time, but you will consume 3 more pcs in the time that a mac could last

  • @Casset125

Mine commodore 64 still runs, so whats your point?

A good MAC costs insane. Their quality is good, but its for reach people.

  • @Casset125 But what to do with a pc from 1990, which was already slow in the year it came out? There' s no upgrading.

  • I thought apple hated intel in the past.

  • that made my day

I think when apple says "dull little tasks" they are refering to work pcs, but what about pcs built for gamers and pcs built for media? They convenient left them out

  • eeehg, no

  • at 0:11 on the right it says emo

  • Should say "kernel panic: we are hanging here..."

  • "dull little boxes".... those dull little boxes were much better than macs for a pretty long time

  • lol owned!!!!!!!!! i luv this ad!!!! PC = CHUCK NORRIS

    mac = little dirty ho

  • @mohsun123 I'd prefer the little dirty hoe. They got some experience!!! lmfao. WHat would I want with chuck norris? OOHHH, I get it. PC makes you feel like shit, just like chuck norris would after he kicks your ass...... hahaha

    Nice!!

  • :D:D lool

  • ha ha :D

  • hahahaha lol

  • Lol'd

  • Why did it get a Blue Screen?

  • Stop it mac fans, you always say that intel chips are 2 times slower, why did apple switch?

Because they know how great intel chips are! They want to be as cool as a PC, but Apple is the last to get Core family processors for 1010 Haha lolz

  • @chrischoy9 no because you pc users bitched so much about not running windows on ppc so they switched to intel

  • @cloudbook1994 I thought the Power PC processor can run both Mac OS and windows

  • @cloudbook1994 EXCUSE ME, INTEL is benn pc mart from the start, go nd hav some search bef4 doin any shit, and also, apple first says tat intel processors are very slow, u can find it on youtube, and now, following the trend of pcs, they start having intel chips for BECAUSE THE ARE THE BEST AND PCz ARE MADE OF IT !!!

  • @farooqmss x86 sucks. Period. Apple had to switch to x86 because Motorola dropped out of PowerPC development and Apple didn't want to stay on a sinking ship. CISC processors suck in general. PowerPC is amazing, which is why game consoles use it. No amount of time and money can make x86 better.

And about OS X, it has far greater memory management than Windows ever will. The NT Kernel is a piece of shit. It's insecure, slow, and bloated.

    And lean English.

  • @ComradeSlice By windows i am talkin abt Win 7 and it has THE BEST mem management System, What is the reason that 95 % of offices use Windows while having coding in JAVA??? it is the best Management System, win can use upto 256 processor cores which is Amazing. Any OS ca be run on say 16 gb of memory , but the test should be on min requirements , just to check the management of OS and Windows Wins TOTALLY in this case,VS OSX

  • @farooqmss 95% of offices use Windows because of Microsoft's back-room deals with vendors and IBM's influence in making them popular. The office I work at uses Windows because they used IBM to set up their computer presence back in the 80's. Windows sucks. Microsoft is a good business I'll give them that, but they're not a good software developer. They can pull corporate tricks to make them popular, but they can't innovate. They can only imitate. And the imitation is never as good.

  • @chrischoy9 No, they used PowerPC for a long time because they were slower than Intel chips. Then, when Intel started gaining power, they switched to Intel to stay on top.

  • @Casset125 NOT AT ALL SIR, INTEL WAS NEVER SLOW NOR LOW POWER. BUT YES, THEY GAINED MORE AND MORE POWER WITH RESPECT TO TIME

  • 0:15 like a scene from "Such Great Heights - The Postal Service" xD

  • hahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahaha

  • ROFL! xd

  • So all those years the powerpc / intel "benchmarks" that Apple used to tout were simply so much baloney!

  • This video would be shitty without Jack Bauers voice...still...its shitty

  • nice 5* for hating mac subscribed powerpc's suck

  • nice

  • How to save money :

    - Buy a pc with intel cpu and usual compatible mac-like hardware

    - Install Hackintosh OS

    - ???

    - Profit !

  • No, Mac OS work also nice on AMD CPUs like the Intel CPU! AMD PCs have a better price performance as Intel.

  • @Aikinoodles ...and then get sued for illegally downloading a copyrighted OS

  • @Aikinoodles you cant use hackintosh on every comp.. only like the atom processors n stuff, and plz, rather not have the atom...

  • @Aikinoodles ya but u can still get viruses

  • Mac x86 with BSOD is a result of Intel and M$.

  • lol nice

  • LOL

  • im a pc but i wish im a MAC

  • why do you hate mac or pc.... -_- there both computers with different capabilities, MS has a lot more programs because it is cheaper, that means there a more virus developers for it, mac has less programs so less viruses, virus's are a big cause of bsod (deleteing drivers ect.) so there for pc's may crash more and mac may not because they have little software compared to pc so they both got ups and downs

  • The little software thing is kinda only true for businessy stuff, for consumer stuff there is a lot of nice applications that are more polished then their pc counter parts (ex: 'pcpowersuperconverter/dvd.power 2000' for PC vs. 'handbrake' for mac (both are video converters and dvd rippers, the mac one in a lot nicer and 'just works'))

  • status = told

  • I'm a PC and Macs SUCK!

  • Im a mac and your mom SUCKS!

  • @Razear mhmm

  • Nice vague answer, I've never had a mac user answer that question satisfactorily.

  • Dull little tasks? what interesting task can a mac do that a pc can't?

  • a mac can win a pc can only fail

  • @smithy6375 The most important tasks it can perform is to not crash because of viruses and software incompatibilities. I find it laughable when PC's start up and they have to go through their virus controls.....what a complete waste of time...

  • @smithy6375

It can "end unexpectedly" instead of getting BSOD, or get a gray screen :D ...

PCs are better and cheaper, Mac laptops would be cool if their cost wasn't that high.

So basically macs are overrated piece of shits.

  • @shigalbigal you obviously don't know what your talking about have you ever used a mac lately don't think so so your judgment is kinda false by the way this video is just a joke so be cool

  • @smithy6375 macs cant get viruses

  • @brianegan3 False. There are a number of viruses written specifically against macs. However, since their market share is below 10%, it's simply not efficient enough to be noticed.

  • @Termiborger yes your right but theres so few made for macs out of the millions made for pc so they just dont bother putting it up

  • @smithy6375 it's an ad. take it easy

  • @smithy6375 the thing is most people can use macs

    less people can use pcs

plus in most peoples expirience pcs have more errors

    i like both though

  • @smithy6375 well, out of the box, Video editing? Photo management and editing? Home-Movies? And if you like it pre-ordered, Microsoft Office? iWork? Final Cut Pro/Express? Logic Studio?

  • You do realize that was a windows error and BSOD and not a mac Kernel Panic. If you want to make fun of Apple, do it right.

  • Well, PowerPCs also get kernel panics but not BSODs, and this happens when the intel Mac is running boot camp

  • Yes! I hate this Fucking stupid Mac (and Steve Jobs-I hate you!)Stupid Mother fucker!!!

  • lol i hate mac

  • LOL awesome ending... I love the cynicism :P

  • Bwahaha! :D

  • lol BSOD :P

  • LOL

  • Because Mac are really free whit ähhmmm DRM for example.

  • This is so awesome ^^

    *insert awnzume face here*

is it your creation? if not tell the creator you rox, you're the legend of the Internet

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Windows error? That makes sense...

  • @USAFFountain jeah there should be kernel panic or critical error >:D

    macs suck!

  • haha thats hilarious

  • ....macs don't get bluescreens but ok.

  • It is talking about the fact that Apples now use x86 CPUs - which can run windows.

  • ohhhhh.

well, that certainly is fail then XD

  • powerpc was able to run windows. VirtualPC and other apps ran windows.

  • You too

  • Get over yourself

  • LOL Genius

  • hahahhaahahaha

  • lol blue screen of windows??

  • LOL SIGNED!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WUHAUHAU lol WUHAUAHUAHAUHAUHAU lol

  • AHAHAHAHHA, so funny, well done xD

  • Brilliant!

  • :))))))))))

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha XDDDDDD fun fun fun fun fun fun XDDD

  • I want PowerPC back.

  • Muahahahaha XD

  • LOL

  • there were no cpu cooler

  • OMG so funny!!!

  • Whats the name of the music in the backround??? Help!! thx.

    Good ending of the video^^

  • I'm a professional C/C++ programmer. I use a Mac. I like XCode.

  • xcode pwnz

  • @ComradeSlice i am also a Java/C/C++ programmer and i hate MACs, stupid machines, i always prefer Windows/Linux platform, cuz they yeild good results!

  • @farooqmss XNU (MacOS X) and Linux are both open source and UNIX based. So I don't know why you're comparing them in terms of "yielding results"... What's that supposed to mean anyway? Do Macs yield incorrect results? lol

  • Comment removed

  • @farooqmss I see you deleted your comment knowing how stupid it was. Let me repost it so everyone can see it:

"@ComradeSlice Yielding means that they are having more responce than MAx and EXCUSE ME, OSX OPEN SOURCE???? APPLE DOSN'T KNOW ABOUT IT BUT YOU!!! get a good search before saying any thing"

opensource*apple*com. all your answers are there.

  • @ComradeSlice i wasnt knowing this thing that apple after having this *UNIX* base, will also OPEN SOURCE it. i admit my mistake. in terms of yeilding i mean that Windows and Linux is the MOST USING OSs in development stuff because they runs the software much much better, and Windows is most used , and i witness such an event when shifting to Linux caused Crashing of the computers cuz of some Memory handling probs.

AND HEY, I DONT HAVE ANY ISSUES IF ANY ONE SEES THIS OR NOT, MAKES NO DIFFERE
