the girl playing rhoda isnt bad..the mother is atrocious. and why are the people filming this laughing at parts...this is a very serious moment..yet they laugh? and..whoever was the set designer..fire him/her NOW!
I'm playing Rhoda currently in Detroit. And I'm a big, hairy guy. It's a blast and I have so much freakin fun. We definitely play up the comedic elements and I can't imagine seeing the show played straight (in this day and age...). I think these clips are hilarious.
Im best friends with jen ( the little girl) and she is actually one of the best performers at our school. and yes she does seem creepy at times, but not in a mean way! ] ILU jen!!!!
they did this at my camp the girl who played the mom was amazing and rhoda omg she was just like meant for that part she had a sickly sweet trait to her when she played her and had the biggest eyes that were so creepy when she did the smile while hugging her mother. it was so creepy.

One of the girls in my Drama class played Rhoda.
She was so good, that these two boys in my class said
"We're not being friends with Melanie anymore because of her evil face!"
Plus, instead of being an eight year old, she was an eighth grader.
