  • Not exactly hip hop! Its kinda commercial music!

  • ha u on the floor

  • Nicely done. Love it, you're smooth.

    I'll suscribe =]

  • pretty tight keep going u ever heard about dj savage his a dutch dj his skilled

  • wait u still switch ur cds in and out of ur cdj's...u using the soundcard with a software or for recording purposes?

  • Just for recording purposes, the UA-3 doesn't have the capability to work with a DJ software (that i know of).

  • what soundcard are u using?

  • Edirol UA-3.

  • the last transition is very good;)

  • molto bravooo

  • I love it DJ Rang, but I agree

  • nice mix,

    what equipment are u using?

  • nice mix,

    what equipment are u using?

  • Why the fuck are you clippin your meters like that? You better have a fuckin bad ass limiter.....

  • lol chill, it's an entry level mixer.

the meters don't go into red; yellow doesn't mean i'm clipping.

  • dude, I have a DXM09, descent mixer, but the yellow LED indicators ARE the clip lights. I'm just guessing it has a half-descent limiter to keep you from going completely over the edge.

  • my bad, i didn't know that. i'd say the limiter is amazing then because i've never had any problems with sound breaking up or speakers blowing out...

however, i run this mixer through a larger live sound mixer, so i dont' know if that has anything to do with it.

  • Well the live sound mxier, as lnog as you keep your levels down, can't clip the speaker amps, but you sure as hell will bring down the quality of the sound if you keep your gains that high. I would keep them so if you moved the gains up a tiny bit, then they would start peaking in the yellow indicator range, but make sure they don't all the time.

  • thanks for the tip, i appreciate it!

  • not bad

  • mix more variety. all hip hop and one song thats not (avril L). stinky...if you play more variety that would work. You wouldn't be able to pull that off at any big club where I go. You would get boo-ed off the tables.

  • -variety is awesome, i agree with you completely. this is labeled hip hop mix though, why would there be anything else in it? watch my other videos for greater variety!

-i myself would boo someone off the decks if they played avril in a club; this is my living room though, so anything goes :).

No offense meant, i really appreciate your comments. I just do these mixes for fun; i wouldn't necessarily play/mix live the way i do in these videos.

  • nice mix...you have your own type of Dj'ing and i respect that. keep it going and desi4lyfe

  • man ppl wana comment on what an artist is doing, tell em if they want what they want, they can go and fuckin create their own shyt,

NEVER judge an artist or tell him/her that the art could be better got dat!!!!!!????????

bro u keep on going, fuck them hatters

    desi 4 lyfe

    eezz KNK

  • Yaa thats true but if he wants to be success ful he has to learn to except harsh crictism

  • music selection is not so good but the mixing is alright. keep working

  • good damn like it!!!

  • gj man nice work

  • this is fye... keep it up pimpin...

  • Come on man......you cant mix "heavy" hiphop and then put in Avril Lavigne in between...

  • :) sure i can. it's a mix, the idea is to "mix it up".

  • i understand that but you kept it playing for so long...

  • Good work lululu

  • wow man dis is soooo awsome ! mann i seriousli need this song in my mp3 lol ! u fink u can send me this in any way ? ! just soooooo kool

  • hey i got the same setup as you, i do a lot of euro and house, just wondering the same thing with hiphop as to how to bridge the big difference in mixing with diff ranges of BPM? any help would be appreciated thank you

  • I usually gradually bring the bpm of the mix up by mixing faster and faster songs in (this takes a little while though).

If you want it instantly, beatmatching 88 bpm with 120 bpm is not gonna happen, so you can use an effect or a slowdown to end the slower track and then immediately start the faster one...

  • what I do sometimes is purchase (or make my own) premade transitions. You can get bpm up or down transitions from places like the crooklyn clan website. They work pretty well if you want to change from hiphop (usually 100bpm) to house (125 bpm and up) and vice versa

  • Best thing to do is just start on slower bpms and gradually get faster and faster creates like a build up over your whole mix.

  • sweet mix. like all the song choice and it must take ages to practice to do all of theat

  • can we please swap systems? lol i got the stanton digipack 2 (the one with the c.313's) its good but...yours is better lol

  • Wow!!!! Awesome work dude..

Hey man I am trying to get into mixing Hip Hop..Any tips or suggestion that you could give me?? My biggest problem is that most tracks have very high BPM difference (70-110) how do I go past that???

  • pioneer CDJ?
