If this year has taught us anything, it's that web services are not impenetrable. Just search Google and you will find news of lots of web services that got hacked and personal data published on bitTorrent. At least when you have a PC/mac the protection is your responsibility and you have some control. Storing your data in the cloud is a massive risk for this reason.

True Mac's aren't virus free. However I download a TON of illegal content, movies, software etc.. (even from dedicated mac sites) and in 3 years of being a mac user I've only ever had one virus. A little window popped up and said, "OSX has detected a virus, would you like to remove it" I clicked yes and never heard anything again.
