@marxistsoldier: So moving from Australia to NYC to get work is narcissist? LOL.
Sia's been living in London for some years so she really moved from London to NYC which begs the question: Does moving from London to NYC (where her work is) constitute narcissistic behavior or is it only from Australia to NYC?
Like all marxists, I find your world views fascinating (yawn) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
So what if she wants to be famous? You (maxist soldier) want to change the world, don't you?
Who's the biggest narcissist? The person who wants to be known for her singing or a guy who sees himself as a 'marxist soldier' and wants to change the world?
I'd say the guy who wants to change the world has tickets on himself not the girl with a great voice.
The "I care about the world" line is what all fanatics use -- from religious nuts to fascists and everyone in between.
You would not accept the "I care about the world" line from religious fundamentalists or capitalists so why do you think I'd accept the blatant lie from a Marxist.?
The "I care about the world" is just narcissism on a world scale. You want the ENTIRE world to reflect YOUR values and you're willing to eliminate or reeducate those who don't share the vision. Ultra Narcissism
no i don't want the entire world to reflect my 'values'. i want the economy to be nationalised and controlled by workers democracy so we can produce for human need. nothing to do with narcisissm or religion.
keep your ignorant thoughts to yourself cos it's not new and very boring. cya
You said you don't want the world to reflect your values you just want the economy to be nationalized... set up a workers democracy... and produce for human need etc. LOL
NEWSFLASH!!!!
THESE *ARE* YOUR VALUES.
Now go put on your Che Guevara T-shirt and sunglasses get a good socialist book and go sit in a cafe so everyone can see how unpretentious and 'caring' you are. LOL
i'm not actually that caring. i just know that capitalism is in a state of irreversible senile decay and has become a fetter on further development of the productive forces. no one needs to starve anymore, we have the technology to produce more than enough for all but it needs to be in our hands first. it doesn't matter how caring u are, it's just rational. as for pretentious cafe etc, i'm just a worker, a class conscious one. bye
I come from a capitalist perspective but can see that this hybrid system we have today -- privatized profits; socialized losses -- is the worst of both worlds.
Yes, we have the technology and means to solve most of the worlds major problems but the corruption is endemic
I also believe we -- the little people -- are equally to blame because we ALLOW politicians to lie and we ALLOW corporations to rip us off for fear that if the big boys go, so does our wealth.
this is nothing new, it is inherent in this system. the workers pay for the crisis of the system. when the cycle is in boom, the bosses/bankers etc want no regulation to ruin the party,
then when the cycle turns to bust they want 'help' and call for regulation. the next boom will come and all the regulation will be dismantled for the orgy of profits. the workers don't really benefit from the boom, wages in america have been stagnant for over 20 years. the boom is based on SUPER exploitation of labour, squeezing more out of them
u are wrong. i would be a narcissist if i thought i personally could change the world if only everyone accepted my ideas, that is narcissism. i don't think i can change the world and i know i am not important in the molecular process of revolution. the only people who can change the world are the working class, organised and united as a class. i support the working class taking power from the bosses and transforming the world, that does not make me a narcissist
so u are claiming that caring that 8 million children starve to death every year because capitalism can't feed them, is narcissistic? compassion for human suffering is not narcissistic. u are confused
as for my name. yes i am a marxist and the soldier part is just a play on words, i don't see myself as a soldier BUT the only war i'm prepared to fight in is the class war.
On a final note, marxistsoldier, you may want to check out what Sia said about her last album: "Some People Have Real Problems"
She said the album title was a reminder that what spoiled brats like us call problems are nonsense when compared to the suffering the rest of the world endures.
I think this is his realistic big shot voice, he's surely Rocky IV sibling. Apart from that, I'm sad that Sia made a short show. I enjoyed the no-pants trick more than my gf, and it made me naively believe next year there would be a no-panties special.
She has graves disease which makes her hormones off wack i think. Im not sure what it does lol

then i guess I do.

Pretentious? Yeah, she really looks up herself LOL. Narcissistic? Look at her. Does she look like she think she's queen shit? Hardly.
Sia's one of the most unpretentious 'cunts' in showbiz that's a key reason why people love her so much.
Crazy? insane? bizarre? Goofy? Absolutely!!! She's an original... but pretentious or narcissistic? No way.

she knows she's cool, she's not blissfully unaware,in my opinion she is very aware. definitely pretentious and quite strong narcissism.
she moved to new york from australia ofcourse shes a narcissist. everything she says has to be witty, it's pathetic
