  • thnx i luv ur vidz keep postin

  • Woa ! Amazing !

  • some people put oil on there fingers to make it easier to come off, i ddnt have the thin tape around so i tried it... may tht be the reason why it was so watery looking

    '

  • @BellaTwist It's been on my to-do list for a while now to do a comparison between taping & lotion, oil or vaseline/chapstick etc, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

  • its beatiful :-)

    what's in your water please?

  • @18dadus nothing added - it's plain room temperature filtered water =)

  • the star doesnt work for me,when i try ro make the star smaller the nail polish doesnt move :/

  • @chowmysister1 it won't work with all polish - it needs to be very liquid & dry even slower than most for marbling =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thanx ill try that :)

  • amazing!

  • this is such a great design!! I'm totally doing this design!!

  • GENIUS!!!! When I saw the design i was like "how do you do that with water marble?" so i looked and wow, was that worth it! you are a GENIUS

  • OMG this is so beatiful. I hav never seen nail marbelling as awesom u do them. thanks for a lovely vid....

  • this is too awesome ...

  • thank you so so much !! <3

  • that is so beautiful!

  • have you ever used glitter polish with the marble proses

  • @ladynightwhisperer a couple times, although many of them don't work well =)

  • can i dip a few fingers in at once ?

  • @1237am yes, it all depends on the design you're doing =)

  • very creative and the design is beautiful! but it takes too much nail polish...

  • @parkbtao it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops

  • WOW THATS SO COOOOOL

  • I watch a lot of nail art videos but this is the first time I have seen the water marble done this way, I didn't even know it was possible, I am really excited to try it now and experiment with different colors. I think its such a great idea that can be used even when it isn't Christmas, great job!!

  • That's amazing... All I knew is that we could do with marble designs with swirls but this changes all :D

  • ахренеть...

  • why filtered water?

  • @jontur because most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thank you :), your tutorials are amazing! :)

  • can i make this designe on short nails?

  • @jolyay yes =)

  • This is just about the coolest thing Ive EVER seen!!! Water marbling is neat but specific design looks amazing!

  • just go ahead and...

  • kewl

  • This is so awesome! I need to try this! :D

  • when i put my orange stick in the water to draw out a design, all the polish goes straight to it and i cant draw. (like at the end where you clean up around your nail...it does that when i draw my design) help? im using room temp faucet water because i dont have access to filtered fyi.

  • @paintedchestnut It sounds like the polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • Wooow that is sooo cool, perfect!:)

  • what type of neil polish spreads properly.. i have som problem with the spreading...thnx

  • @Jaboor420 there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • kool

  • Why do you call it an Orange Stick? Why not just a pencil?

  • @piggigirl1 because it's not a pencil - an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick =)

  • it's really good idea but it's easier to paint a star with a nail brush I think because it's a wasting of polish..BUT I REALLY LOVE THE VID.THANK YOU

  • @SevaUrek I don't think my hand is steady enough to do that many straight lines - plus I have plenty of polish to spare LOL

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues give me your polishes =)

  • Can u Plz make Blue and yellow? :)

  • @CloeJohn410 I'll add it to my request list =)

  • could a toothpick work instead of an orange stick? :3

  • @SnuWolf412 you can use anything with a fine point =)

  • dayumm that's ingenious!!!

  • are you sure using water won't effect the polish itself or the brush?

  • @Rihamoooo generally you don't put the brush in the water - the polish should just drip off =)

  • you are amazing! i tried this at home and it came out kinda brownish purple.

  • at 1:15 i thought u were doin spiderman in negative or somethin

  • can you do purple and gold?

  • @BunnyNinjaGirl I'll add it to my request list =)

  • Its so pretty!

  • Just noticed her username is SimpleLittlePleasues not SimpleLittlePleasures .

  • that is the coolest thing ever!

  • wow, i LOVE this design, its beautiful :O)

  • this is awesome! i absolutely love your videos! :)

  • how many ppl ask where you got them done??

  • @jonnyandquinn not many really, most of my co-workers know I do my own =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues hmmm kool! i just tried it and it looks great!! thank you!

  • THis was very nice!!!! Happy New Year!

  • Nice!!! I like it!

  • i just wonder, should i use the same brands of polish or i can experiment on other brands? i just wonder if there are something special on your nil polish... i live in the philippines and imported brands would cost me so much :((( thanks in advanced for your answer :))

  • @EMBERisHOT you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues oh yeah, i see i tried that when i came home yesterday, unfortunately, my nail polish can't do it :((((

  • يا الله والفضاوه اللي فذي الحرمه ليلش طوييييييييييييييييييييل

  • That is SO Awesome! ;)

  • Do I have to have a oarnge stick?

  • @chipsndip33 anything with a fine point will work =)

  • You're so creative!!!

  • Perfect! :O

  • Beautiful!!!

  • So cute

  • Are your nails real? Sorry this is kinda a lame comment. Whatevs I'll live.

  • @miabella555 yes, my nails are natural =)

  • Your designs are absolutely beautiful! I enver thought doing something like this is possible. I am definitely going to be trying it out at some point. Fantastic!

  • Looks so easy when you do it. I always mess up xD

  • You are a Genius!!!

  • Do you have to paint silver on your nail or can you do blue?

  • @piepie123987 you can use blue, but the colors will look slightly different on top of that =)

  • this is my favorite one!

  • Also wanted to ask if there is a certain brand of polish you think is better than another... I see you use China Glaze & I have had a little luck with some of their polishes but I noticed when you did the poinsettia tutorial, i didnt recognize the polish bottle...

  • @FCACheermom All my sally hansen polishes have worked so far :)

  • @FCACheermom there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • U videos are amazing!!! I am a licensed manicurist & I was having a hard time with this method!! I def think that watchin your videos will help me with this!! Thank you for sharing!!! Caznt wait to watch all of them!!!!!

  • Makes me want to become a manicurist again.

  • so pretty but all that ppolish wasted

  • @LoLo10872 it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops

  • do u have to use tape for this

  • @iMisstakeN it's not required but it's much messier without it =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok thank u

  • Ok u got me loving this type of nail work..I tired it and made a mess everywhere and was only able to do one nail lol but I got lots of comments on that one nail lol

  • LOL I'm sorry I did not realize i am on my son's account lol

  • yes that is exactly the problem the polish would not spread

  • @stanman2005 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Mine looks like marijuana ;DD

  • @WhoaSnapItsAudrey You just made my day XD

  • @FullMoon272 Ohohoho, yay! [:

  • @WhoaSnapItsAudrey haha c:

  • @WhoaSnapItsAudrey good for 420 lol

  • do filtered water matter

  • @ssshaffstall yes - most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • Its only December 19th..

  • @ToxicPanda69 ? this is from last year

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Oh LOL. i did'nt notice , i thought the youtube clocks where broken. Or that you lived very far where you're 2 days ahead of me ,Sorry hehe.

  • ive given up trying water marbling :/ i can never seem to find a polish that works good for it or maybe im just doing it wrong, anyways its just a waste of nail polish for me :(

  • @DanaDaniela Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • wat water do you use i tried the water marbling 100 times but it never comes out right can you plz make a video with some great tips i really need it thx!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheKimmy0987 room temperature filtered water =) there really aren't any other tricks except a lot of trial & error to find the best polish

  • wow i never knew about this technique....

  • you are very creative with this marbling stuff. i wish i could get it to work just once for myself :(

  • @Shyreeta21 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I definitely think it's the polish that's giving me trouble. I'll pick a few colors out of my stash & 1 will spread & the others won't. Then if I can get it to spread, the whole thing sticks to the pick when I drag it through. IDK if the polish is drying too quick or if I'm not dragging deep enough. Plus I'm using a toothpick instead of an orange stick...u think that might be adding to it?

  • @Shyreeta21 you may actually be dragging too deep - you want to just drag across the surface of the polish =) anything with a fine point will work

  • will the tape work with normal cellotape? xx thanks for this its amazing

  • @MrSassypants123 I always just use scotch tape but any kind should work =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok thank yhoo. i had much trouble doing mine :/ xx haha thanks for the great tutorial but unfortunately i have very small nails and i just don't think it works :) xxx

  • @MrSassypants123 if you have short nails you just get less of the design, so it's very important where you dip your nail - check out my short nails marble with my mom as hand model for some tips =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues also do you know why perhaps the vaenish doesnt spread out aswell and goes like skinn? xx

  • @MrSassypants123 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues how do you get the room temperature water? i think you are amazing and really helpful i would like to stay in touch with your channel they are all really pretty nail arts.

  • @MrSassypants123 it doesn't have to be exact, I usually just recommend to leave it out where you will be working for an hour or so =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok thank yhoo xx

  • I think this would be just as easy to do with a silver striper instead of having to do a marble of it. But it looks awesome! Love your tutorials <3

  • @BrainOfsteel if you have a steady enough hand, yes =)

  • It's amazing!

  • THAT IS SO COOL!!

  • Thanks and Happy Christmas

  • Stunning, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and God Bless You

  • excuse me how do u set the water to the rite temperture

  • @missjennifer9 I recommend just leaving it out where you'll be working for an hour or so =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues ok thank you so much!!!!! :>

  • @LabelMeHappi yes, a small flexible one =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasure which one spread easily? tap water or room-temperature water?

  • @bbgglover85 I always use room temperature filtered water =)

  • Meravigliosamente fantastico!!!!!

  • Damn that's a lot of nail polish

  • @Dangerica4you it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Is not more saving if you apply the base polish then you make the design with a very tight brush ?:) :D

  • @Dangerica4you well yes, if your hands are that steady =)

  • These water marble nails are so neat. Looking forward to trying it.

  • is it special kind of nail polish you have to use?

  • @elegantsophia no - it's normal polish, although not ever color works =)

  • Love it

  • for some reason i can never get any of the water art to work :( ive tried room temperature tap water, distilled, etc and none of the polish i use diffuses like yours does. i only ever use china glaze or OPI and they refuse to work :( :( any ideas why?

  • @dthsythehell I always get my filtered water from a brita pitcher - a couple other things is not everyone's room is the same temp, mine is usually mid-70's. The size of the cup matters also, polish seems to spread better in a small cup - & last is that not every polish works, it can take a lot of trial & error to find colors that spread well =)

  • I love your water marble vids! I just tried it for the first time, it's pretty hard! :)

  • @LabelMeHappi they’re available most places that sell polish, usually stocked near the files & clippers =)

  • I think this is the coolest water marble I have ever seen!

  • You are so creative, that is gorgeous...gotta try it! Thank you!

  • This is nice, where did you get the idea from?

  • @JlynGoh I read about it on several blogs before trying it myself =)

  • Genius

  • i saw someone use vasaline to cover her fingers instead of tape. have you tried or heard about that? if so what did you find was easier?

  • @YenieD13 It's been on my to-do list for a while now to do a comparison between taping & lotion or vaseline/chapstick etc, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

  • Does anyone know about how to put the tape around the nail is there a specific way, or any idea...I tried and I couldn´t do it, looks so easy but it was hard :(

  • @skul1276 you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues THANK YOU SO MUCH, I SAW THE ANSWER IN MY PHONE AND I COULDN´T ANSWER UNTIL NOW HERE, ;)

  • @skul1276 You can just rub some Vaseline around your fingers. :)

  • @mecka43 It's been on my to-do list for a while now to do a comparison between taping & lotion or vaseline/chapstick etc, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Oh I can see that it would do that. I should try it out. I've done it with tape and it was very frustrating for me so I'll try both. :)

  • @mecka43 THANK YOU SO MUCH ;)

  • @skul1276 Whatever works best for you :)

    I don't remember what I said and I can't find my previous comment. :(

    Did you try it?

I hate wasting a lot of tape.

  • @mecka43 haven´t tried yet, I´ve been very busy but also I have to go to the right place to find good colors ;)

  • @skul1276 Well good luck! :)

  • wow!! so cool :)

  • woooooooooooo uno dei piu belli!

  • is mineral water filtered water? dont really get what is considered as filtered water
