They earn more profit that way. They don't have to produce anything, just run the same footage over and over and charge an insanely exorbitant price. Plus once you're in you wind up being forced to buy a bunch of other overpriced shit you don't want because they won't allow you to bring in your own food or drinks. It's much better to just download the movie, rip it to dvd, and blast it on your own HD system for free!! Hey and you can get drunk and throw things and nobody will say a thing.

Most of these comments should be removed. . .Tiffany Shlain is awesome and super nice. She came to my film class last year at the University of San Francisco and talked about one of her short films, "The Tribe," which is really good. She still sends us e-mails and really wants to promote up and coming film makers. To the person who said that the words "important" and "movies" should never be used together has never seen an truly amazing movies or is just to self involved to have realized it.
