:-/ If Wikipedia is accurate, the original Japan-only game only worked with somewhere around 60 pokemon instead of the whole 151 in the second one...

Because of that, that game would make people feel ripped off. (Insert a complaint about Pokemon games developed by Ambrella and Genius Sonority here... HAL was the one good company for this kind of game)
