Seriously? No one ever sounds the same in concert as they do on a record. Vince Neil never sounded the same. Neither did Axl Rose. Record has a lot of time to hit the notes and warm up, train, ect... Live you got one shot and no one wants to hear his voice crack trying to hit the highest notes.

Valid point, however his live performance voice and his record voice is drastically different. Also, they recorded their album a LONG time before they started touring and became more widely known. He was, correct me if I'm wrong, 14 when he recorded the album? Average age of puberty is around that age or maybe later depending on the person.
