i dont considre dark samus evil. she does what is nesessary to survive, i mean phaze preduses parassiting other planets it does not have any other choise. jus like humans kill to feed so does phaze. its tradetic surviaeval of the fittest

....how's the story of the manga bad? It is the most detailed thing in the storyline of the series. That's what would be made into a movie if anything to get people started on the Metroid series's storyline.

but the entire series has ALWAYS been about Samus, no other human has ever been a main character. It's always built up to be just Samus as the main character. And why would they change the story? It would be a different series if the story was different.

1. Why not have it simply based entirely off the storyline of the games? Look what the Resident Evil movies turned out like.

Samus is the main character. If you play as some GF it has nothing to do with the story of the series and gets rid of any isolation feel Metroid has.
