Today I did two great things. First, I called an old friend to meet again after 4 years. Second, I watched this vid. Both things put a big smile on my face :-)
THANK YOU, AVDJ. You have a really nice, inspiring and calm (almost 'Bob Ross' like) way of being you.
I never felt such a feeling of "I belong here" than I have the first time I went to Manhatten. I know it has it's negative aspects but that is the test f the city to how one counteracts these bad influences and see beyonf it and at the cities true beauty. I hate to leave and return home---everything seems so small after being overwhelmed by the city for a day. I am not intimidated by the size and scope of the city---I drink in all its influences.
i was wrong about 'anything.' the featured vid, comment section and can (finally) copy the UR L from the few vids listed on your channel are accessable. other than that its totally useless (to mobile users). they've already proven both formats are supportable. wonder if they caved in on the mandatory change? i sure hope so!
a lot of folks spoke out to say they wanted an option for their format, so maybe it won't be mandatory. I would like to have the option to switch back if i want to, but the beta has some advantages for organization. i find that watching youtube on my phone isn't very easy, so i tend to do it all on the laptop. in time they will build better phone support for the system. cheers, buddy.
I always appreciate fellow creative souls & so i enjoyed seeing Central Park through your eyes & through your thoughts & words...i like your energy my friend, like me you like to properly reflect on things & take your time to really experience whats around you :)
Wow, the videos you create never cease to cause me to wonder, consider, and even motivate me to be better. I appreciate the gift of creating that springs from The Creator. Ah yes, and to end with the refreshing, cleansing water:) I think I will now go to my garden to plant my garden...then perhaps even time for a walk. Many blessings sent your way, Carol.
I'Ve been to Central Park last April. I share your feelings about the place. It can be a place for your refuge or sanctuary . The description of the park and the feelings of being there is so vivid for the imagination of one who hasn't been there. Thanks for sharing.
Central Park was my favorite place when I lived in NYC in the early 90's. You took me back. How I would love to spend a day alone walking and wandering and wondering and noticing. I have been hiking every week in Runyan Canyan which is the closest "nature" I can get too in LA. I have been filming my walks and am inspired by you and your style. I don't know quite what I will do with the footage but whenever I do it, I wanted you to know that I think of your videos when I am shooting.
"sometimes I just like to listen". Me too AVDJ. I know what you mean. I really love the way you use sound, it is as important as the images. Your sound design is just wonderful. There is a great transition at 4:09 from a bough to a bridge that both have the same shape and placement. Wow - I loved that.
well you know how i am about new york, & the way you so wonderfully capture what you experience exploring there. central park will always be my idea of heaven on earth in the city, a true civic haven. nature humanizing the urbanites. stepping into the park recharges our souls with joyful green energy. this video walk-along is just my cup of tea today, thanks! i especially loved the goldfish, the bethesda fountain angel, and the father and child talking boats. i loved your narrative too:o)
Great video....I live far from NYC, but on occasion have visited the park staying at my cousin's pad a block away, or even once at the Plaza. It's pretty, but here we have miles and miles of such beauty in the countryside.
Great pictures Scott. Yes I do live where I am happy I have every intention of finishing my days here in the swamp cause I like all the stuff that lives there.
That was fantastic! I also love Central Park! I haven't been there in so long though! This video really cheered me up! So calming and beautiful! Yay for Spring! Thank you! :) kristin
I like all the layers of the park. I like walking in it. I like how it makes me feel better on a stressful day. I like eating lunch there. I like all the music and concerts. And all the different personalities of it. thanks for a refresher course. :D

I too love Central Park and spent everyday from the very beginning of spring up to the trees and flowers being in full bloom.
I loved this video also, but really had wish the music was delteted and the natural sounds of the park use.
Especially the water falling over the rock at the end.
Thank you
