@nickdavidgordon anyway the bass in this video is a passive instrument with no pre-amp on board. The preamp you are talkin' about is on the active version. You can find some video in my youtube page user: giorgiosantisi1

The active Jabba is the sunburnst one ;-)

@nickdavidgordon, the on board pre-amp has a Mayones logo on it, but I think that it is a Gregory pre-amp made for Mayones. I think that the Jabba is absolutely a professional instrument with a reasonable price ;-)

Fantastic playing dude! Truly excellent display of techniques and styles; double stops, slap, finger funk, jazz - to name just a few. Delano pickups are really great sounding, but the player definitely deserves the credit :) Do you have tabs/backing tracks for this, I'd love to learn it :)

Bass sounds great! I actually like the Delano pick-ups better than the Nordstrands.

They seem to have a sweeter tone for me and more balls!

@BezZo0 credo che su alcuni modelli vengano montate corde GHS e su altri le Galli.

@gozer67 Mayones Be-5. Il rivenditore mi ha detto D'addario ma non era sicuro, la scalatura a tatto mi sembra 45-135, ma potrei sbagliare.

che strumentone...sono rimasto impressionato credo proprio che sarà il mio prossimo acuqisto...cioè come si può preferire un fender???a pari denari hai un jazz standard che non suona come un mayones,per non parlare delle rifiniture particolari e curate,insomma tutto un altro livello rispetto a un fender...non scordiamoci che il jazz bass ce lo danno nel cartone questo in una custodia rigida,perciò cosa vuoi di più dalla vita??? MAYONES A VITAAA!!!

@th3bassist , lo strumento è davvero bello. Tuttavia a me piace pensare che se uno lo sceglie è perchè cerca qualcosa di diverso dal Fender. Il Jazz bass ha fatto comunque la storia della musica (anche se io continuo a preferirne la versione tradizionale a 4 corde. .) A parte le differenze sonore, concordo sul fatto che Mayones ha una grandissima cura dei dettagli, dell'hardware, dei legni e soprattutto della liuteria, che viene data a un prezzo eccezionale. W Mayones!

il BE exotic lo provai una volta di sfuggita..è più simile ad un Warwick che a un Jazz Bass quindi dipende dalla sonorità che cerchi. In ogni caso si tratta di un ottimo basso...

la registrazione l'ho fatta semplicemente entrando in una scheda audio Tascam US122 per cercare di ottenere il suono più naturale possibile. Grazie per il commento ;-)
