The sound really isn't THAT bad. This is a beautiful rendition of a beautiful piece of music by one of the preminent American composers, and the only comments here are about the technicals of recording? The technical quality is not intrusive enough to warrant discussion OVER the beauty of the music and the competency of the playing, which are both considerable.
It /was/ recorded digitally if the camera wasn't using a tape. Anyway, the issue here is a crappy microphone in the camera, not digital vs. analog recording.

if you record the sound digitally maybe it will sound more clear
