  • I find it highly ironic that I am watching this at 3 am as I do my nightly Internet surfing to try to fall asleep! I think after watching this that i am going to make a "cut off time" for all my electronics so I don't waste half a night's sleep anymore. Thank you for the wonderful video!!

  • You are so right that the bedroom should be a peaceful place. I have dried calming herbs that grew over the summer hanging over my bed, tied on a string hanging downward so when I wake up, oftentimes the first thing that I see is calming herbs, and it reminds me of the good things in life, and that I have a safe place to retreat to at night. I also have a natural crystal that I hang from my bed, and a note that my boyfriend wrote to me. :-)

  • You are so right about how crucial sleep is to your health. I also have had poor quality sleep make me sick. I'm so glad you are feeling better! Wednesday (today) starts Catholic Lent, and next Monday I think starts Orthodox Catholic Lent? All the more reason to fast! Thanks so much for the video! :-)

  • good advice. sleep is the most important thing that helps everything happen in health..glad you are well again..what did you have? Are you still 100% raw vegan? How are your issues with b12? I hope it is getting batter

  • I run a fan 365 in my bedroom to cover noises and took out my tv and my clock is old school electric and does not even have a light on the dial so my room is pretty dark

  • Oh! You're into NLP and EFT? That is so awesome! I love the new video, btw. I find that an easy way for me to get to sleep is to start deep breathing, and sticking with it, until it drifts me off. Such a great way to relax and let go. :)

  • I think bad sleep lowers the immune system....that's when we regenerate of course. What do you think you got? Influenza? That's a long time to be sick. Influenza A is really hitting us hard in the cold states ( minnesota for sure) I don't know about the south. I am against flu vaccines.....

    Also, schools are breeding grounds for illness.....this year has been horrible for strep. It's been a tough, LONG, COLD, winter! :-(

  • it's funny, when I wake up at night and can't fall back again to sleep I eat a piece or two of chocolate or a teaspoon of sugar and it makes me sleepy and I fall asleep until morning :)

  • what's wrong with her right eye? it's smaller than the left one, it wasn't like this in older videos

  • I am also a very light sleeper. What works for me is having a fan sound on as loud as I need to drowned out any other noises. In winter or even summer my husband made me a CD with one hour of nothing but a fan running. It is the same sound you hear inside your mother. It is relaxing and just a steady hum that will calm you. Other wise I will wake up at every sound. Try it, I love it.

  • @Joni48  I use the AM radio on fuzzy sound. Works like a charm.

  • well when somebody suffers from the restless-legs-syndrom exercise is actually bad and makes it worse. the rls is really a pain that destrois ur life. nobody would believe how much i suffer. my life quality is at the lowest cause i cant sleep usually. my marks at school -my life i dont know where this is going to end. walking makes it worse. unfortunatly. but well everybody has their package to carrry.. i look normal and people envy my looks and my life cause they dont know.

  • @johmarie7 how odd, i've always understood the opposite, that regular exercise is an ideal treatment for rls. perhaps you have a specific strain of the condition that i'm not familiar with. best wishes.
