The interview was recorded on 15 September and broadcast only yesterday, 20 September. I do not understand, why Medvedev has been interpreted in such harsh pseudo-Russian accent in English.
It sounds more like an Arabian or Pakistani English rather than standard English. Whom they are targeting such terrible English for?
That is pretty harsh criticism for this interview. I agree that it would be better for Fareed not to interpret the interview, but though you may not like the questions he never interupts the president and allows him to disagree with anything he says, which the president did many times. Americans and Fareed have certain perceptions (many false) about Russia that come out during the interview, but talking about them and listening to the president describe his positions will help us get over those.
Fareed Zakaria is a typical CNN liar and hypocrite. he spoke to prezident Medvedev and then interpreted in his way all he heard. he's done it on CNN. that fareed does not deserve to be sincere with.
I can't stand Fareed Zakaria. Just check out his canned questions, "Is Russia willing to stepup to it's responsibilities as a world power and press in the UN, and in other ways, to insure that Iran does cooperate."
Medvedev, if honest, should have said. "No, we are not willing to stepup to YOUR definition of OUR responsibilities just because your country is run by Neocons whose at war with Iran."
Fareed Zakaria MUST BE SILENCED FOREVER

@mikkitiny,

Zakaria: "This will disappoint the US people."
Medvedev: "Make your move!"
