  • The age of the superjumbo is coming to an end: the A380 will never make its break-even quota and more 747s are being sold as freighters than passenger craft. Smaller jets reign because they're more capable in purpose and far less liability in an accident. 737s used to be feeder planes, now they're transoceanic and transcontinental. Airbus was really thinking backwards with the A380 and it shows.

  • At 1:43 I can just picture everyone in the Small plane... "WTF?!"

  • CRJs are not liked and therefore mobbed by the jumbos :D

  • delta vs delta

  • I kinda like that its only the small deltas thats getting srsly damaged... bad airline it sounds to me...

  • no wait did she just say A JUMBO JET, JUMBO JET, that's a 767-300ER is not a jumbo jet it is a regular international jet, to make it easier call it a BOEING ****NOT ***** A JUMBO JET.

i hope she wasn't making this to pilots because i am not going to listen to her be cause she called that 767-300ER a ****Jumbo jet****

  • @Anders757747 it's a "heavy jet"

  • Sad

  • of course there is a neck injury. Everybody just wants the money in the pocket don't they. Thieving bastards!

  • the Jumbo jet? are you serious LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • OK - FOLKS - STOP ARGUING... IN THE ACTUAL FOOTAGE (at night) OF THE INCIDENT.. IT IS A 4 (FOUR)-ENGINED AIRCRAFT - NOT TWO (2).. AND IT MOST CERTAINLY IS NOT A BOEING.. THEREFORE, THAT LEAVES EITHER an A-340 or an A-380! So go suck on something that will passify you..The 'AFTER' footage is WRONGLY showing a damaged wing on some other UNRELATED WING!!! WTF?? JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE CRAPPY NIGHT-TIME FOOTAGE of the incident ITSELF!!!! I've forgoten more than you'll ever know about airplanes!

  • @Vention3 FINALLY Someone who is absolutely RIGHT!!! Oh - wait - that's me!

  • @Vention3 Of the A380 hitting the CRJ-900??

  • @Vention3 There are two incidents. One was a Boeing 767, the other one was a 380. You are combining the two and confusing yourself.

  • @Vention3 The four engined jet that his the CRJ was an A380.....

  • The *neck* complainer is that one dumb shit. :)

  • Jumbo jet? This bitch is stupid, it's a 767, not a 747.

  • @airlinepilotdude The 767-300 and -400 are considered Jumbo Jets. The 747 isn't the only one.

  • @bobac1083 World Champions in Junior WC! HAHAHA****

  • You guys... The finny part is both this collision and the A380 collision- Both Delta airlines Bombardier CRJ-900s. LOL....

  • @bobac1083 There is a hit out on all CRJ-900's. Stop the genocide!

  • @radtech21 i know right? LOL

  • for the law suit thing lol

  • that was not a 767 and the other plane was not a jumbo jet jumbo planes have 4 engines

  • @MrAAFilms not all jumbo jets have 4 engines smart one

  • @MrAAFilms What do you call thes jumbos: B777-2/B777-3, A330, B767, New A350, A300? Those all have 2 engines and they are considered "Jumbos".

  • @MrAAFilms The 767 was the jet that clipped the tale of the regional get. And you are completely wrong about the Jumbo Jet thing. Jumbo Jets don't need to have 4 engines.

They can have 2 or 3... I doesn't really matter. The Boeing 777 is one of the biggest Jumbo Jets in the world, and it has only 2 engines. The DC-10 and MD-11 have 3 engines and they're also Jumbo Jets.

  • Who the hell says "Seven Six Seven"?? It's "Seven Sixty Seven".

  • Comment removed

  • 'Jumbo' Ummm..

Jum poo, Jum bone, Jum bolina, Jum jimmy, Jum bastic. Jim bone, Jim boned me, Jim poo, Jim pooed in my jimbo, Jim did a jumbo in my jimbo.

Jim rimmed my jumbo - OMG!! Success.... LOL

But it could have been worse.... BWAH HA HA !!!!

  • funny in the us there's always some one with a "neck injury" and law suit that follows...

  • @marcducati People are fucking pigs trying to be rich and show it off i would be grateful that i am alive

  • @marcducati I bet it was a OSCAR winning performance. My neck, my neck

  • @marcducati Not always in the US...seems to be a rich-white-man's epidemic, regardless of border.

  • 767 is definitely not a jumbo jet

  • @backintack then what is it

  • @tigersfanatic98 a wide body

  • @backintack wouldnt a WIDE body be considered a jumbo then?

  • @tigersfanatic98 no. a wide body just has more than one isle

  • The 3 dislikes were on that plane :JB

  • The 767 isn't a fucking jumbo jet! God I hate it when the media fucks up.

  • @InDeepSchit you have no clue. A Boeing 767-3 or 767-4 are considered jumbos or "Heavies" by Air Traffic Control. I know more about planes than you do by this because i can tell. I got family members working for Delta Airlines.

  • @bobac1083 Alright alright, sorry. My bad.

  • funny how all these people in the comments think they know what planes these are but actually have no clue

  • lol this pilot is so fucking super duper fired. good luck at mcdonalds, dawg!

  • @xxbrkdwnxx it is a crew they dont getkicked out of the industry for that kind of stuff

  • @barrow29 i don't know. the report said the pilot "thought" he'd make it but didn't. sounds like careless piloting. i'm not into aviation or know anything about the field but i have worked all my life and know that that kinda of work behavior would get you canned anywhere else. what is being a pilot if not a job?

  • @xxbrkdwnxx a profession to answer your question. and also it is the towers job to tell him if he is not clear. as it appeared by his behavior he already had clearance to taxi

  • @barrow29 looks like the tower couldnt really see how close they were. Stuff like this sometimes is unavoidable...

  • If i remember right the 767 it's NOT a jumbojet!

    Jumbojet=747, A380

  • @100Julmust well i if i remember a 767 is bigger that a 747

  • @barrow29 no a 767 is quiet a lot smaller than a 747

  • @Mclaren3054 well the report says that it was a 767

  • @barrow29 I was saying that a 767 is smaller in size than a 747. I know it was a 767 in the collision.

  • @100Julmust wrong. It is. So are the B777s and A330s, New A350s (in devolopment), A300s... You dont have a clue...

  • @100Julmust The 767-300 + 400 are considered Jumbo Jets.

    The 747 and A380 are not the only Jumbo Jets. The 777, 767, 787, 747, A300, A330, A340, A380 are also Jumbo Jets.

  • It seems everyone is confused about which aircraft were involved in both incidents (not crashes god dammit!) - The JFK incident was an Air France A380 (F-HPJD) that clipped a Comair CRJ-700 (N641CA). This BOS incident was a Delta 767-300W (N185DN) clipping Atlantic Southeast Airlines CRJ-900 (N132EV)...some people really need to learn more, kudos to those who got it right...unlike the reporter who says the the 'jumbojet' was off to Amsterdam

  • Well theres your problem, the 767 was heading to Amsterdam... Pilots probably decided to start early with their pot smoking. Idiots

  • @lakers6902 the rear visiblity is low in those thing it is very hard to see. im sure you could not do any better in flying a plane that size

  • People.. Smaller jet was a BOMBARDIER RJ (Regional Jet) & the larger aircraft was either an A340 or an A380 (can't quite tell if there are two levels) but either way it has 4 engines, so it is NOT an A330 - and definitely not a Boeing 747.

  • @Vention3 Look at the video again. Its a Damn Boeing 767. I know those winglets on that aircraft. Its not a A340 or A380 or B747. My god people! You suriously dont have any clue. RESEARCH before you post!

  • A380: BITCH GET OUTTA MEH WAY!

  • That was an airbus A330

  • @mrlego330 WRONG. Definitley a 767-300.

  • @ataramprat look at the fleet online and get back to me WRONG

  • @mrlego330 "Look at the fleet online?" What the hell are you talking about? I know the Delta fleet. Look at the 31st second of the clip. There are CLEARLY two over-wing emergency exits. The A330 does NOT have over wing exits! It doesn't take a genius. Plus, there are many more subtle differences between a 767 and an A330 that one can see in this frame, but I realize you are to amateur to see them so I won't bother explaining. Or Google the damn FAA report if you still don't believe me.

  • @ataramprat FU

  • @mrlego330 Dude.... DO some goddamn reaserch. I know more about planes than anyone and plus i have family that are pilots for Delta Airlines. Fuck you man. Google the damn FAA report and tell me if thats a A330 or B767. The winglet on a A330 is similar to that of a 747-4. A 767 with winglets look more like a modified CRJ-900 winglet. It was torn off. Look at this part of the video for proof of a 767: 0:40 and then look at: 0:38 Tell me that that winglet is not damaged then...

  • @mrlego33 The 767 now has winglets so yes it can be confused with a A330 but this is a 767

  • @12alltel12 how could that be confused on a A330 dosent have that knd of wing tips how bout u look at one then look at the BOEING plane that collied with the smaller plane

  • @MrAAFilms ?

  • @mrlego330 I thought that too at first, but once you look closer it's a 767, remember that's a pic of the aircraft that hit the regional jet with the broken winglet. At first glance it does look like a A330 but it's not

  • @mrlego330 WTF it was a 767-300. To begin with, A330's don't have wing tips that tall and second, The A330's Exit Doors are placed in different places.

  • @Rcflyyer1 I made a mistake judging by the part of the wing that got cut off it looks like an A330 winglet you do not have to be so mean about this.

  • aww. was the rj okay

  • roadway lol.

    I love the media.

  • crew of 3 on a regional jet with any more than 50 passengers can not be correct unless EV was already breaking some rules.

    I DEMANDS A FACKZ CHECK.

  • This is not a crash, this is an INCIDENT.

  • @wcelton I was thinking the same thing!

  • Impatient pilot. I hope he was suitably punished.

  • @rabbitcancer have you ever driven something 200 ft wide? Didn't think so.....

  • @wcelton Don't be absurd. If anything, size requires an exponentially larger margin for error than 'driving' a normal vehicle. Any pilot will tell you that patience is a virtue in aviation. Something akin to a 'rear-end collision' is woefully unacceptable and worthy of reprimand.

  • @rabbitcancer I am a pilot thank you very much. And it may not be a matter of patience. It could have been the that the smaller jet wasn't in his appropriate position. It's pretty difficult to see out of the cockpit of such a large aircraft.

  • Must be same pilot an co-op pilot from crash early back

Pilot: ok let's do this again

    Co. Pilot: HELL YA

  • thats not a 767 that is an airbus a330

  • @hawkenboy54 Actually it IS a 767, where did you get your information? Please do research before you make a "factual" statement such as that. Thx.

  • @dezz3399 listen faggit its a 330 u pieace of shit

  • @hawkenboy54 You must not be bright, but I know what a 767 looks like, you can't even spell simple words. If you think its a A330, google the incident and find the NTSB report. You might be surprised...

  • @hawkenboy54 Acually its not A330 has a diffrent winglet and the front end of the A330 is alot lower.

  • @hawkenboy54 I was about to agree until you look at the type of engine the 767-300ER had, also the reason I thought it was is the winglet looked exactly like a A330. But you can clearly see the winglet in the CRJ-900's right horizontal stabilizer. And if you look at 0:41 you can see the 76's winglet.

  • @MrAviator96 ...or a widebody ¬_¬

  • I HATE PEOPLE WHO ARE LIKE "JUMBO JET' IDIOTS!

  • 767 is not a jumbo jet!!

  • @MrBryan86 Well they mean't wide body

  • @MrBryan86 The 767-300 and -400 are considered Jumbo Jets.

  • Airbus A380 that big flying elephant hit the tail of the small plane.

  • I know adding winglets to an aircraft wings makes it more fuel efficient, so does this make the CRJ more efficient with its extra winglet on its tail? :L

  • @minitrundle lol

  • its rick! but why is is reporting he show pop up in the fucking videos and starting music background was like chuck norris farrted over whole america this moring

  • why are crjs getting pushed around so much?

  • @legomaster335 because even though there just the same size of the Greyhound bus or SWIFT Semi Trucks, biger whide body planes are very big, there no mirrors or turn signals on these jumbo like Moder Commercial vehicles.

  • Suprised? No Its Delta.

  • lol bet the neck injury was FAKE AND GAY.

  • This is NOT a jumbo jet and it WASN'T a crash!

  • i love how they try to scare people and over dramatize this stuff. this is why i dont watch the news.

  • @8justin88 you still havn't seen Indian NEWS...it's f*cking stupid...

  • Stupid media, it's not a damn Jumbo Jet!!

  • @Vincentvuoto They're no stupid. The 767-300 and -400 are considered Jumbo Jets.

  • Delta on Delta violance - NICE !

  • ha-Ha telemundo

  • I am going to sue for lieing!!! That was not a jumbo jet, that is a beast Boeing 767-300ER!!!

  • wow its not a jumbo jet!

  • It makes me wonder... if they put cameras on cars the size of a shoe to avoid hitting stuff... why don't they put them on planes the size of buildings for the same reason??

  • A380 pwns CRJ lol

  • That must have been a shaky situation

  • I was thinking this was a real crash!!! This is a tail/wing strike....

I wonder do they teach news reporters to lie in college or on the job...

Somewhere the lies are being taught.. If they did the real research like a journalist is supposed to do on a story they'd get half of it correct.

  • @karimjwalker and it seems the also teach them to overuse adjectives. SMASHED into the smaller regional jet SLICING the "jumbo jets" wing and MANGLING the regional jet.

  • But thats an A330

  • @FS98FSX No. It's a 767. The A330's winglets don't look like that.

    Google Images: 767-300ER

  • Comment removed

  • @SAMCAMJAIK1 ohhhhh i see it now it looks like an a330 cause of the winglet is cut off its is a 767

  • @FS98FSX she called the 767-300ER a jumbo jet

  • LOL the plane walked

  • I will never take a flight that goes through Logan!

  • those planes don't like delta, even delta

  • Lol, 'America Today' with a map of the ENTIRE WORLD behind it XD...

    Someone's got ambiiiitions.... XD

  • @MrAviator96 Well actually, "Jumo Jet" is a name for any widebody.

  • That plane is a CRJ-900 and is repaired and flying.

  • @MrAviator96 agree a 767 is not a jumbo jet

  • KLM was the only airline that flies straight to Schiphol from the US?!?!

  • I thought KLM was the only airline that flies straight to Schiphol from the US?!?!

  • I couldn't figure out what to say...so I guess this is my comment.

  • @77Magenta are u blind? I said it's NOT a jumbo jet it's a 767!!

  • @videoproducer100 the A380 is stupid!!

  • @TheEtox1 a bit like you then hey?

  • It's not a jumbo jet it's a 767!!!

  • Funny they call 767 a jumbo jet

  • It was not a crash.

  • Wow....

  • Funny how the two planes that got hit at JFK and at Boston were both a Delta Crj-7...

  • @TheWrestlingrobot

Hi mister pilot guy! You are such a lucky man to have such a job! What do you fly?

    - I fly CRJ-700 with Delta.

Oh really? Thats bad luck mate!

  • @ConnectusVA I'm 15 I'm not a pilot yet lol.

  • @TheWrestlingrobot i didn't think you were a pilot... i was just adding up to the fact u stated about the CRJ-700.

  • @skydive911 Yes I understood your first comment now : )

  • @TheWrestlingrobot Check out facebook . com/ConnectusVA ! ;)

  • a 767 is nppt a JumboJet...

  • @tjampe - well it actually is considered one, as it is a wide-body airliner. a Jumbojet is just another name for large wide-bodied aircraft, such as an A380, 777, 747, etc.

  • @videoproducer100 The name first appeared on the 747.it's the FIRST and only real jumbojet. it's stupid to call other aircrafts than the 747 a jumbojet, it's just confusing people. The A380 are described a "SuperJumbo" That the name JUmboJet become a callsign for all wide-bodied aircraft is just a sign on lack of knowledge and especially lack of fantasy.

  • @tjampe - Yes the 747 was the first jumbojet and the A380 is a stupid plane, but that doen't mean that the 767, 777, 787, etc can't be jumbo jets too.

  • i just felt like saying hi so.... Hi

  • @theNikit07 Hello :D

  • @FutureFlightDream I also wish to say hello.

  • @BrendanIsCool Hahahaha Hello :D

  • @FutureFlightDream Well hello

  • The 767 is not a jumbo-jet. Much worse? It was a wing-strike (not a "CRASH"... those are quite common and serious injuries don't occur. Roadway? It's a taxiway. Period. Stop calling it a jumbo-jet. Thank you for not calling the A380 a giant-jet... sensationalized news, courtesy of ABC. Making drama out of little things is one thing. Getting everything totally wrong, is something else.

  • @scaremengaviation Relax dude the news never gets the facts straight.
