  • What if your song has time signature changes in it how do you utilize the click then?

  • ok so how do i get my hats to quantize from 1/32 to 16 triplets in my piano roll?

soz if this sounds thick its just in cubase in the quantize menu it has 16 triplets as an option, it doesnt have it in the logics one..whats the equvilant???

    please help- novice here...

    thanks in advance!!!!

  • @DJDARKSTEPZ You can choose the quantize snap in the piano roll editor tool bar. You can also choose the snap value by click-holding a note with the quantize tool.

  • @logicstudiotraining .. ok thanks for reply.. but i know how to do that already its just i dont know in the snap value list wich is a 16th triplet ol

theres a long list and none of them say triplets only the usual 1/2, 1/4, theres 16swing etc i just dont see no 16 triplet in the snap value list!!

is any of them in that list the equvilant to a 16triplet and its just worded different in logic???

thanks for previous rapid response. much appreciated !

  • @DJDARKSTEPZ You want to choose 1/24-note. The clue is that it's in between a 16th and 32nd. But how you get there is by counting how many of them there are in a bar of 4/4 and you can fit 2416th triplets in a bar.

  • @logicstudiotraining

Hi. Thanks for your time. I am doing a house track in 4/4. But just in between the buildup and drop, I want the drop kick, to start one bar later, so there will be a little pause. Like 4/5. How can I make just that area in to a 4/5?

I hope you understand what I mean :)

    Cheers

  • @runean81 You can make all these changes to the Key Signature track. But you're saying that you want the kick to start one bar later but changing a bar to 4/5 will only delay it by a single beat. Either way, you'll want to use the Key Signature track in the Global tracks to make the edit. You'll find it on the top of the Arrange area.

  • could you please explain why we use 90x1.5? why 1.5? thanks so much.

  • @chiehying I just figured out the math. I needed to fit 3 eighth notes into a beat instead of 2. So what would I need to multiply by 2 to get the answer of 3? 1.5

  • thanks a lot!

  • You're welcome!
