this is great, but i saw this new lure technology on a site called fishingrevolution.co.uk and it seemed pretty good, has anyone tried them?

You can make a FAR better spinner by using pliers and your hands. It takes a little more time to learn, but it's worth it for the superior end product.

For those interested, you can do it all with a pair of small pliers. Get the wire by the roll from Cabelas. Straighten it before cutting sections using pliers. You'll work it out. Can make a 'spinner tool' out of a bit of wood and a couple of small nails. Look at it! It's just a couple of lumps! Finish sharp ends of wire with a dremel. Great way to 'recycle' ineffective spinners into good ones too.

IT is a lure making wire jig and can be bought at any good fishing shop. Cabelas sells them as well.
