Idk if it was how it was mixed or what, but the album version is so quiet compared to this version. After seeing this live I'm just not completely satisfied with the album version (or the whole album actually). Seeing PB live makes the album sound so undercooked. I blame EMI though, apparently they rushed Damon with PB, I'm sure he had plenty more ideas for the album.

You may be right, but they only have three MAIN albums.

Gorillaz, Demon Days, and Plastic Beach.

The others ARE legitimate albums, but they're not as main and powerful as the three above. The other albums are mostly remix's.

Am I the only one who thought that phase 3 was going to be the darkest phase? Idk, these demos (especially electric shock), always seemed really dark & eerie , & this picture with murdoc & bubbles the clown .

The whole carousel phase, kinda like a Phase 2.5, just had this really dark feeling to it Imo .

Downloaded the CD....but I'm gonna buy it I have to support this group. They worked their asses off to produce such creative, quality sound you rarely see in music today. The whole thing is like a movie and the songs all flow in order and provide a story. AWESOME.

But then I got the physical album today and that animatronic voice thing is WAY toned down and hardly noticeable. Got no problem with the final track now, but I think it's really weird.
