It seems like Dhalsim is worse before. His damage output is bad and it's hard to tell if he's good when someone who isn't good is playing. He can't even perform a combo for christ sake, even with RYU.
@Siberianhusky89 most damage output has been reduced accross all charecters for longer gameplay. wierd cause most special moves damage is about the same looking at the stats on eventhubs. maybe its a hp increase? i dunno. but yeah you get my point :)
why do u have to choose ur ultra b4 the match? SURELY it makes SO much more sense to be able have the option of using whichever of the 2 ultras you want during a match?

Rose's second ultra has much juggling and defensive potential. If it does stay until they both hit, then that will render characters who are trying to win and losing unable to get in without getting knocked down, and open up many combo chances.
Balrog's ultra is speculated to give high stun damage. If this is true, this is very dangerous, like Alex's stungun headbutt.
Damage is not the only important thing in this game. Mixups, combos, footsies, counters, they are all relavent.
Haha, used to main Vega up until about Early December, when I never had the EX bar when I truly needed it =P. He's great fun, and I don't think he deserved second worst in the game :P.
i agree on the part of akuma's second being stupid. and i also agree that dhalsims style of play is enhanced with this ultra, i just wish it wasnt him just bashing heads, wish they could put in something like him throwing you around etc.
If you played any Dhalsim player when they teleport behind you for the combo usually you would think you should just mash jab to tap him out of it before he gets the chance but if he does the ultra that will change things significantly. More of an Agressive mind set for Dhalsim.
I must say, Dhalsim's 2nd ultra looks like garbage.
