@wombat979 Copper tube for the boilers is available here from hardware/plumbing stores. Brass tubing for the pipes comes from a hobby store. Good luck.
Hi, great boats. Can you tell me if the multi tube single engines use a common boiler for all the tubes, or are there dividers in the boiler to feed each pair of tubes?
Is there any way to purchase the plans for your Skeena Princess boat? My 5-year old grandson and I love this one and would really like to build it. We have not had good luck with some of the other kits we have purchased. Please respond. Thank you.
The good news is that if I had it it would be free. The bad news is that I don't work from plans. The boats and engines sort of grow on my work bench from ideas in my head and maybe some sketches on the bench top. It is on the "list of things to do" to make a video on how to build the boats but it could be a while. Wish you luck on finding something that works for you and your grandson....Daryl.
These vessels are simply stunning. Both in the apparent simplicity of their operation, and in the craftsmanship and imaginative design of the vessels. Thank you for sharing them with us. They are truly beautifull and functional works of art. I have joined the group and thanks to sciencetoymakers instruction, and your incredible inspiration and informative video. I look forward and hope to make my own putt putt boats. Thank you!
Wow Daryl, I salute your ingenuity and attention to detail. This is such a great source of energy for propulsion. Can't wait to board your 40' putt putt boat. Edward in NZ

@CaptainSmog The multi tube engines have a single boiler, no dividers. Good on you for being a scratch builder. Thanks for watching.
