i started a talk to my mum when we were in the supermarket that i wanted a new razor cuz she always buys the cheep ones and i dont like them cuz im afraid to use them. so i asked her if i could buy a gillete venus razor and she said i could but she doesnt think thats a good idea. i even asked her for a shaving gel,and she said okay but shes so closed to this theme i cant talk to her. she hasnt even tought me how to do it,so i had to learn it my way!! not cool

This was a cute little movie. I remember when I first started shaving...the joy of being so young. Now that I am older I hate shaving, I find it a total waste of valuable time. I now prefer to wax it all off. Yes painful, but so worth it! Girls just be careful using a razor and watch behind your ankle area that is such a painful area when you cut it by accident. I'm 14 and i started shaving, well not shaving, using an epilator earlier this year, like around March or May. But i'm not trying to make you not shave, just tell your mom that it's quite embarrassing, and you don't feel comfortable in your legs. Personally, i think you should wait at least a year or two.

Shaving gel STILL gives me red bumps. I shave when I take a bath, and have soaked in for about 10 minutes or so. And when I get out I make sure to apply a good amount of body lotion on my legs to prevent red bumps and pimples I used to get.

Just dont over think it and make it a big deal just bring it up whenever i told my mom and she was totally fine with it she just said okay ill teach you how :D and im only eleven if your thirteen then you can do even better than i can

You just need to approach her and talk about it. Try and act as grown-up as possible, so she knows you're ready (for example, if she says no, don't start crying and have a hysterical tantrum). Believe it or not, your Mom was in your situation once too, and she'll understand the way you're feeling.
