If the prayer is one in which Qur’aan is recited silently, then the imam and others should say Ameen silently, following the manner of recitation. If it is a prayer in which Qur’aan is recited out loud, it is mustahabb for the members of the congregation to say Ameen out loud. There is no difference of opinion on this point.

برصغیر میں ملکہ وکٹوریہ کے آنے سے پہلے کوئی بھی غیر مقلّد نہیں تھا .
اگر تم (نام نہاد اهلحدیثوں ) میں ہمّت ہے تو ثابت کرو کے برصغیر میں ملکہ وکٹوریہ کے آنے سے پہلے اهل حدیث مذہب کا کوئی ایک مدرسہ کوئی ایک مسجد کوئی حتیٰ کہ صرف ایک سطر کی تحریر ثابت کریں .
میرا دعوی ہے کہ تم کبھی بھی یہ ثابت نہیں کر سکتے . اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کے تم اهل سنّت والجماعت سے خارج ہو.
@dofindit brother, we dont have the clear cut hadith as u want but, there is a clear cut hadeeth where it is mentioned that our beloved Rasool Ullah Salla Hu Aliehe Wa Sallam used to raise hands at the start of his prayer, then before going for ruko'o and after kuming back from Ruko'o n also after the first tashhahud..:):)
n Rafa Yadein means raising hands, Rafa in 3arabi is raise and yadein is two hands..:):)
@djbadboy90 - Brother i am hearing these days from mainly Deoband firqa as they openly saying Dr Zakir as murtid just upon hearing that Dr Zakir say about saying loudly and doing rafa yaden and they saying its not in Al bukhari about saying ameen loudly and Rafa yadein. I appreciate if you give that verse number and chapter so i can show to them. Its just that i didnt locate it myself and need to response them.

Al-Nawawi said in al-Majmoo’, 3/371:
