I just realized Nintendo has created exactly five games that are rated M. Conker's Bad Fur Day, Geist, Eternal Darkness (N64), Eternal Darkness (GC), and Perfect Dark. That's cool, but I wish they would make more so we can see the other side of Nintendo.

I'm not sure how many they've published, but Conker's Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark are both made by Rare, and had little to do with Nintendo. Also, you mentioned Eternal Darkness twice...

This is an absolute underrated gamecube classic. Me and my cousins would play the multiplayer all the time. Single-player is one of the best I ever played.

This is a really good game. you gave it a good grade. I especially love the part when your messing with the woman in the showers. Lmao. and if you try to go out in the halls she gets scared when somebody might see her naked. XD

it is fps because the comera is showing wat u would see ur not smart fps is a camera mode not a game mode duuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh

@lorddoom313 no it's not a camera mode, hence the term first person SHOOTER, shooting has a small playout in this game, you do alot more different stuff and shooting is probably 30 to 40 percent of the game. it's a first person action game, not an FPS

Nice review! Objective, interesting and a very well balanced approach of good vs bad. I like games which push the boundaries like SM64 and SMS as you say, and it's a tough choice between this and Second Sight - both I'll likely be adding to my library shortly. You have my thanks for a well rounded review :D

Thanks! I pretty much ad-lib all of my reviews, so I did forget to mention some things about the game, like the great multiplayer; it really gave me the same feeling I had back when I was playing Goldeneye with my friends all the time.

Well, the good thing is, since it's so old and underrated, it's pretty cheap, so you can pick it up for less than ten bucks.

when you battle cord, as soon as the throws the grenade take contorl of it and use it to kill him, makes everything shorter.

Oh, yes definitely. The game is not too expensive anymore, considering its age and lack of popularity, so the Gamecube controller is going to be the most expensive thing to buy, which you will most likely use very often. I can't give you any advice about Eternal Darkness, as I've never played it.

this game, maybe, but thats not the problem...if you have to choose between a calculator that can hardly calcutlate 1+1 or a wii, then choose the calculator, the wii is a mistake

just 1 question, is ther any type of mele combat in this game???

No, there are some close-range weapons like the flamethrower, and the shotgun's secondary fire at close-range is pretty much a one-hit kill every time, but other than that there's not a melee weapon, or even punching. There is a character you can unlock who wields a towel, though, and you can whip people with the towel as a melee weapon and it's a one-hit kill.

This was a very good review on Geist. Geist is one of my favorite games. But like you said, it's a great game but they could have made it an awesome game by spending a little more time on it. I like multiplayer the best.

I agree. Unfortunately I forgot to mention how good the multiplayer is, but it does get kind of old because of how limited it is.
