Nice work, John! Good story..all the kingdoms of mankind cannot stand up to the Last King..the rock in space destroying Earth. Or, the Last King could be a satellite gazing down at earth in the beginning of the piece, with all your cool time lapse of time's beginning, then mankind entering the scene with all his monuments. Then at the end, you could round it out with the satellite looking down after the destruction, sad that its muse is dead. The Last King of a dead planet.
For billions of years the earth has spun, the tides come and go, clouds pass overhead... for only the briefest time have some creatures on the planet, envioius of the clouds, reached skyward.
A king turns our gaze skyward, but it is timeless clouds that gain our envy and respect. Even this is not eternal.
Yet, vast "clouds" in space endure. Our gaze goes higher still.
(No king's tower distract the gaze of the Hubble telescope. Will I ever be able to match sock pairs from the dryer!)
Thanks justwaving! Yes, the good 'ol COTK C1670 Ensemble Generator (EnsGen to us secret society members ;-) is a key component in the main sequence sound!
Hey, did you see the newly announced COTK C1610 resonator? I'm pretty sure I will "need" that one also! ;-)
Awesome video! Love the sounds. Also, excellent scenery. Reminds me of a Picture at an Exhibition of the last great king of the White City before the stewards took the throne.
Way to rock out on those drums, John. And a great use of video imagery, as always. I was going a Tower of Babel v. Nature route myself, but the club and knob theory was first, so I'm sure it must be right! Great work!
Thans blwvideo! Yes, the thought that the importance we place on what we create may be a futile waste of energy if it can all be destroyed in the blink of an eye by nothing more than a random big ass bolder! ;-)
There was an evil king who forced his people to pay exorbitant royalties. He put this money towards synthetic technology. But he didn't use it for the benefit of mankind. He used it to build more and more elaborate towers. The modular moon watched for years in disgust until one day he had had enough. He sent a rain of clubs and knobs hurdling towards the earth that barraged the kings towers with great percussion. The towers crumbled to the sound of prog rock. It was the end of an era.
Amazing music, it is very dynamic with a cinematic feel at 110%!!!!
Very easy to listen too!! 5*****

Great stuff John!
A drummer playing a modular?
There are not many drummers that play modulars as well. Usely they don't want anything to do with knobs!
Awesome!

Thanks Philhelmon! I've always loved keyboards, synths and drums. And hey, I thought most people think all drummers are "knobs"! ;-)

I'd buy an album full of that.
