  • This is really rubish. The right way of the Fool's mate is: 1. f4 e5 2. g4?? Dh4# The reason is that 1. f4 e5 is still an openning (From gambit) so if the player doesn't know the fool's mate he can really fell for it...

  • noob move ? XD

  • why are all the comments so long

  • its called a fools mate for 2 reasons u need to be a fool to fall for it and U NEED TO BE A FOOL TO TRY AND USE IT AGAINST SOME ONE

  • this is 4 if ur versing a retard

  • anyone that would open up like that either has a brilliant lure or is totally unlearned in the game. I guess it's a matter of knowing your opponent.

  • erh...that's 3 moves...try it with black and you can get it in 2. I've done it, especially at simuls (3 moves, since I had white.

  • erh...that's 3 moves...try it with black and you can get it in 2.

  • there's even a faster one for black: f4, e6, g4, Qh4+ MATE

  • That's actually less than 3 moves total. When both players move (starting with white), it counts as 1 move.

  • Black can actually get nate quicker than white can. in 2 moves, many people dont know it. But ofcourse white has to make 2 of the most stupid moves ever lol.

  • This is the fools mate because you need to be a fool to fall in to it

  • no one would be stupid enough to move pawn to F6 first move.... it does nothing but limit you. knight is immovable, bishops, rook, i suppose if he moves 2 spaces, his knigh can get out, but even then, his second move would so dumb if he did G pawn 2 spaces cuz that would also limit his bishops 2nd move, if he wanted to bring it out and use it. quickest checkmate is close to impossible in a real match. only time it would happen is if its the persons first time playing

  • I know it wouldn't really happen in a game I'm just showing it for the achievement on funorb where pretty much only way you can do it is if you get in a rated game with your friend to do this

  • Black can do the same in 2 moves (4 total)!

  • wow, u were the same sides, obviously u would win because uu let the other side to win, duhhhh

  • Fool's mate is stupiest way to win chess.

  • @CountDracula132 Lol.. stupiest.. oh god at the irony

  • This was a somehow fool's mate :))

  • who would be stupid enough to fall for that...

  • its called the fool's mate and its 2 moves in total

  • fools mate is with black, this took him 3 moves

  • Using a friend is illegal. Furthermore, if you insist on doing it with a friend, you could just have them resign. then you get the quick mover, the pacifist, and the safe movers all in one.

  • ya but those are easy, and its hard to get you and your friend against each other in a rated match

  • It's possible if the Black open up with a King's gambit and then sacrifice your black color bishop to a pawn and then send your queen down for the checkmate.. It's not impossible, but can be done.. I done it to the computer when it did King's gambit opening, this was on med. level.. But, I did it..

    Fool's mate is E4, BC4, Qf3, Qf7+

  • No. That is Scholar's Mate.

  • no good player would open like that tho

  • You're lagging. LOL

  • Your doing Fool's Mate

  • well that's pretty cute and all but no one would reply with such an opening trapping their king. it's similar to the napoleon opening which is a failed opening blocked with a pawn good job though

  • yeah, what Carafota said.

  • he can use the exange move

  • the chances of that working r slim to none cause i doubt any chess player aside from new ones would be that stupid to expose there king like that =P

  • well thats why you do it with a friend cara =P since you wouldn't do it for my on the achievement lol this is just to show how to get the achievement
