LOL at the endof the video :') !! ' so what do you think folks i think im halfway there, have fun lots of fun, this is Fredrick Mercury signing off baa baa LOL !!!! got to love Freddie Mercury ¬¬ legend !! xxxxxxxx
@rod7661 This IS John Deacon! This photo was taken on Disneyland Paris in 2009 or 2011, the far left man is John, then Michael, Cameron, Veronica and Joshua. I'm sure.
@rod7661 My friend, I am a Queen fan for 4 years and I assure you that's 100% John Deacon. You can't even watch that close to see how old he is, besides, John was almost all white haired by 1997. Believe it or not, that's your problem.
He's the fellow on the far left, I guess. LOVE his playing. He and John McVie, they add textures and melodic bits, but never anything but beautiful taste.
Does any one no if Freddie and John Deacon got on together off stage, because after watching every video of them all, I'm not sure they did,Freddie always seemed to favour Brine Roger on stage, but in saying all this, god I would give any thing to see them all sing together again RIP FREDDIE love you forever
@redtaildave Deacon was the member who was most upset about the departing of Mercury. Friends and relatives even say , to this day he hasn't got over it. He is also the member that did not want to (and did not go) on tour with Paul under the name Queen because he said: nobody can replace Freddie. Don't know if they were close friends, but he sure as hell loved him.
@TheJumpyPopcorn Also John compared Freddie's death to that of his father who died when John was just 13. When Freddie died, John retired to his wife and kids (now possibly has grand kids). As far as I'm concerned, Queen died when John Deacon retired from the band. He was one of the major reasons why I also took up bass guitar and (like him) altered between using fingers and a pick and playing with a soulful vibe.
@tjrrockandrollmaster I think he was a couple of years younger when Arthur Deacon died, he was very upset by his death, and his mother had a full time job raising him and his sister, and wasn't approving his relationship with music. You know, I don't think Queen are dead. They're one of those bands that live forever, they're not active, but they're not dead, so, "Queen are dead" makes no sense to me. I'm glad to hear John's such an inspiration to you, he's very underrated
@TheJumpyPopcorn Sorry for the late reaction, was moving to another place and only just noticed your comment. I have read the same indeed. Btw, you look a lot like him in his younger years ;) Nice channel you have, going to send you an invite.
@TheJumpyPopcorn Bloody hell! I can't find the comment now. . . . I know I read it! Something about John thinking of Freddie as his big brother or something along those lines. I just thought that was neat.
@105rogue Oh c'mon I just don't note all my sources I get info from. It's just that John was indeed very affected by Freddie's death, he considered him his brother, they got along well...I'm sorry I don't know where I read it, it's just so basic to Queen fans...=S
I also read in an article that when Deaky joined Queen he wasn't expecting to become such great friends with Freddie by saying "It's not that Freddie's coming to my house and I'm going to his" something like that... I DUNNO
@redtaildave Good find! But then again, I think Freddy was mostly busy with his act and the audience. Haven't noticed this though, but now you say it, you are absolutely right! Always found it weird that such a shy guy like Freddy could do this. He seems so introvert in interviews, the opposite of his stage-face.
John if you happen to read this we queen fans respect & love you. Even tho it'd be cool to see you play again we are behind you 100% in your decision to live a more private life. Thanks for the many years of joy & happiness, music & inspiration. Your fans... The royal family.
@01782644468 Queen doesn't exist now, it died with Freddie Mercury in 1991! And John is right not to joining Bri&Roge - just for Freddie's memory sake. Respect.
@glenclosed I understand Brian and Roger seem to just want to play music and that's great, too still be able to hear them, BUT, they are somewhat belittling the Queen phenomena, by wanting to sing and play with anyone who ask, it was bad enough with bloody Paul Rodgers but Christ Kerry Ellis and the such are embarrassing , I still love the boys tho
@MrTwixo1 I agree. If they want to play queen songs then they have that right but only one man can, could ever lead Queen and that's Freddie Freaking Mercury!!!!!!
@davidalanfraser So that is him after all? Maybe if the pic was better quality it would be easier to see. Just looks like any old random man with a hat on hehe :-)

John deacon. Please come back with brian and roger one last time for a one off gig to celebrate 40 yrs of queen. I know it obviously affected you Remember it affected not just you but his roger, brian family freinds and the fans. you joined queen after freddies death twice 1992,1997 just one more time. Freddie would want you to.
