i have a buddy who flew a 737-300 also and got it down to touchdown about 115 knots crazy shit but it was a deliver aircraft and landed on a short runway, as long as full flaps and low fuel and low weight, its good.
you mean more like 310-320 knots. thats what I fly at, really depends on what you fly, like me, im a first officer on a 737-300. we cruise 310-320, depending on if we needa hurry and make time.
well all 737-300,400,500 cruise about 310, dont ever really try to overspeed it though. keepin it in that area, 270 though, thats a little to slow, unless your wayyyyy ahead on time and u ned to slow down the flight then maybe 280 290.
Cruising speed 260-270 knots IAS (indicated air speed); at ground, 260-270 is still 260-270 GS (ground speed), but at 30-40,000 that same 260-270 can be anywhere from 400-450 knots GS, depending on the jetstream. Many people don't understand that, but I'm sure you do.
well at FL300 its about 300 indicated, decreasing by 5 knots IAS per 1,000 up from FL300, but you still maintain about 440-450 knots GS. So you dont really slow down any.
hey im not sure what about this question but dont they tell u to turn off electronic devices before takeoff and landing, tell me how u get away with this cause i wanna film this kind of thing also, comment back please
i flew SWA flight 1156 back in february...i see ive commented earlier...it was cool to fly from someplace rather warm to a freezing cold mountain of snow
@pochothepilot I do the same thing I love to fly! On Feb 22nd I'm flying from Phoenix to Denver, spend a couple of hrs in Denver and then jet back to Phoenix w/ a connection in Vegas. Denver airport is the best, i love their bars in the terminal. Subbed!
i like take offs much more than landings cause landing means the adventure is over

Dependent upon weight and temp, VR is probably around 140 to 160

HOW FAST DO THEY GO WHEN THEY TAKE OFF?
benjamincundari 4 years ago
Depending on the plane, anywhere from about 150 to 180 kts
LufthansaFlightSim 3 years ago
crusing speed around 260 to 270 knots, an landing speed around 120 to 130 knots
umahuma4 3 years ago
depends on the plane and weight really, a 737 hits at about 140 a 747 hits around 120 and a 787 hits at around 135

well, it depends on the cruise altitude also doesnt it? I made this comment 9 months ago, so i think i was wrong about the landing speed

@SenorSpode and depending on if u got a good tailwind:D now if u do, thats a good flight

Especially if any flights before that were tedious and you just wanna get home!

I never had a problem with camcorder usage on my recent Liverpool-Paris-Liverpool flight...I think it`s because camcorders do not transmit signals.

Cool me too. The trip was actually a daytrip to DEN. Spent the day there and flew right back in the evening to SAN via LAS, again on Southwest.
