You are so very right about us being negative of our own work. We quickly criticize ourselves rather than commending our achievements - and it will be my new mental kindness to myself. Thank you!
Thanks Suzanne, one more question if you don't mind. If you dont use a certain color often how long can you expect the ink to last before you re-ink and how can you tell if you need to re ink...ooops that's 2 question :0)
@mkdirectorpjp No worries LOL--if you don't use a marker it will last up to 18 mos according to Copic--but I have had markers that came in sets that I haven't touched in 3 years and they work as good as new because that center barrel is air tight. To tell if you need more ink--if the tip goes white, if it drags or screeches across the paper or just doesn't blend as easily as it did the day before. If its well inked it should glide across your paper lightly & easily
@mkdirectorpjp No the short time that you have them open for each part of the image they will not--don't keep them uncapped for more than 8-10 mins though. The barrel of the marker is airtight so you are not drying out any ink from the inside. I do it all the time and I only fill my markers up every 3-4 months and you know I color a lot LOL! Thanks much!
You are one of my main inspirations for getting into Copic Markers. I'm 49 and I still have coloring books and crayons. I also have spent a lot of time in the hospital and that is my favorite thing to have. It helps the pain become not so painful. I love my Copics, don't know what I ever did without them.
@reallycrazy4paper Aww thank u so much and u are too sweet! Yes coloring is my go to "relax & zen" place especially when u are in a stressful situation like the hospital. I have MS & Crohns so I unfortunately spend alot of time there but coloring always helps. Hope u are well!
Totally adorable, I popped over to ibrake for stamps and they are sold out of this little lovely but I'm certainly going to try again to get her. And please please please can I be your mini-me???
I love the helpful comments you make while coloring, Suzanne. Your videos are my favorites for learning how to use my Copics properly. I view them over and over. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us all.

Suzanne - do copics dry out any faster with the lids being off? I really love your videos and keep up the fantastic work that you do.
