@maltatravel The whole thing with the 2600k is that it is a new architecture, gulftown and bloomfield would bite in the dust. You wont notice some (real) better scaling between both, but i can say a 2600k scores better (for gaming) than a 990x or equal.

Anyhow 12GB is overkill for gaming, timings are almost NO difference, and triple channel is not really a big advantage in my opinion

I would actually have a computer thats not overclocked and not dead instead of a overclocked 10 ghz computer that heats up to 90 degrees. Youre actually the retard.

@Delalcon on this system i had a zalman cnps 9500 cpu cooler and alot of case fans blowing cool air into the case. 100 degrees is very bad you may need to check your cpu cooler to see if it is properly attached and not loose or something and also check for dust on the heat sink and clean if there is any cause dust can make the temps go very high.
