yeah this is not high level protection whatsoever. my uncle has a b6 550 and his car looks way more rugged than this. the rims on his are not amg and are more closed in. his rubber is bigger too. the frames are different and he has air tight interior to deflect from gas or any outside particles. his salon has its own air supply and even a small speakerphone that goes on the outside to communicate with outside world. not to mention bomb proof undercarriage and then some.

@cyprixx the whole car is armored. windows doors all body panels.. its supposed to blend in so people dont know its armored.. its not supposed to look like an armored car, if it does people just bring bigger guns.

this is not a high level security ....the ak 47 destroys it imediately........& with those aluminium alloy wheels you don't escape 100 meters if atacked by ak47 or other automatic weapons with blind passing bullets..........sorry ,my experienced opinion think's so

@executivedesigns You completely miss the purpose of these types of vehicles. There is only so much you can do to protect yourself in every day situations and putting tank tracks on an S600 for daily driving is not really an option. Our vehicles have saved numerous lives and I've yet to hear someone complain about the wheels.

@executivedesigns you're joking right?.. as far as ive heard these things can take small arms and some small scale projectile explosives.. i dont think an ak47 is really an issue... as for the rims i dont really see bullets being a problem, if anyone is shooting at wheels its tires they're aiming for and im fairly certain these things have run flat tires on them.. the idea is to get out of danger, not to stick around til the bad guy is done shooting at you

@executivedesigns You don't drive this kind of car in a war zone. Usually when someone try to shot you, they use a regular hand gun not AK47 or other machine gun.

The wheels look standard but they are titanium, not alloy. One of the most expensive parts of the package.

BTW S 600 dont come in a AMG version but you can buy the Amg sport PAck with like 20 or 19 inch rims that have AMG on them and some other AMG things

@unclezarashka actually, they do. AMG modifies both the 550 engine and the 600 engine, as 63 and 65 respectively. they are put in the S, SL, and CL cars. The 65 engine is a 6.5 liter V12 at 604hp

Honostly i wouldn't want to be in this S yes it bullet proof but look at those brakes. Standard small ass shit.I rather be in a car that can stop for traffic lights.

I would trust merc on this which as over size discs and TWIN calipers on each disc, on there MB-Guard S-class

We do highly recommend our optional big brakes but this customer elected not to purchase the option. Believe it or not, stock brakes on the new S class perform really well even on an armored car. We test our cars prior to delivery and this vehicle performed more than adequately. Our performance package which includes brakes and engine upgrades is a great compliment to the armor and is highly recommended to our customers.

No. Its better and costs about half of what MB charges :-). Not to mention that it can be optioned out to 700+HP to move around the added weight.

Engine tuning does not increase fuel consumption and often improves it with normal driving. However, if driven aggressively, car will consume more fuel due to more aggressive timing and boost settings maps which are used at WOT.

The leather and wood on this Mercedes is beautiful. The black on black makes it very luxurious and clean. Out standing. The center of the steering wheel however can do a little modification, and the center console can be more smooth. Other than that, this Mercedes is a pretty darn clean car. The clean dark black leather and the cleaness' of the passenger side is like a Lexus LS600hl on black. Except it is more sophisticated. Which I see isn't bad.
